There are no absentee ballots given to God to fill out (at least none that I'm aware of!) but God does indeed vote! Just not the way you or I vote. You see, the way God votes is to establish whomever it is His will to establish and to remove whomever it is His will to remove. And we can see God's voting pattern throughout Scripture. And what does this reveal? Contrary to the way in which conservative and liberal ideologues vote, God is not a single-issue voter nor does God nix any candidate who isn't perfect. Nevertheless, God does "vote" against a candidate who is especially egregious or when God has had enough. And so, once again, we have evidence that God acts like a moderate, balancing competing considerations pros and cons when it comes to government.
