How evil is this?

On the scale of laughing at people falling over, to you know that thing that happened in the 1940's, how evil is this?

While using a public bathroom you decide to wipe your excrement on the bottom of the toilet seat in a concealed manner at its peak. Therefore a person that attempts to lift the toilet seat because they want to urinate, and also want to minimise the possibility of them getting any pee on the seat for the convenince of other toilet users, gets their hand covered in said excrement.

Clearly this is evil. But how evil is it?

Hahaha, that's pretty rough, mate!

Quite ingenious, though!

On the evil-o-meter, I'd say it's between stealing a Mars bar from the corner shop, and throwing a water balloon at your neighbour's cat. So... kind of evil.

Personally, I just pee in the hole in the middle, I bought a laser targeting device, makes it alot easier. ;)

Hmmm...are we considering evil according to the consequences or the intention?

By consequences, they're relatively minimal--one, or a few, dudes get grossed out and have to wash their hands. Not too bad.

By intention, it's pretty bad. It's done deliberately, and with malice aforethought, with no goal other than making somebody else's life harder and more unpleasant.

In a book I read about...you know, that thing that happened in the 1940's... there was a brief description of a worker on a farm going to the dentist for a toothache, and, for no particular reason (except maybe to teach her that you do not ever disturb your superiors with any complaint about anything), he pulled 10 of her teeth. I'd say this is less severe than that, but in the same ballpark.

(I tend to favor intention-based moral systems).

edit: Oh, I left out a system--where being just means following rules set forth by an authority of some kind, and being bad means breaking them. In that case, does the owner of the shop have a rule specifically banning the wiping of excrement on the seat? If so, it's as evil as can be. If not, it's totally fine. If there's a rule that suggests it, but doesn't specify, (like, "clean up after yourself") then it's sorta bad.
