"During a street battle in Baghdad on April 12, 2003, Al-Ghazali describes witnessing American troops unveil an oddly configured tank which suddenly let loose a blinding stream of what seemed like fire and lightning, engulfing a large passenger bus and three automobiles.

[FONT=&quot]Within seconds the bus had become semi-molten, sagging like a 'wet rag' as he put it. He said the bus rapidly melted under this withering blast, shrinking until it was a twisted blob about the dimensions of a VW bug. As if that were not bizarre enough, al-Ghazali explicitly describes seeing numerous human bodies shriveled to the size of newborn babies. By the time local street fighting ended that day, he estimates between 500 and 600 soldiers and civilians had been cooked alive as a result of the mysterious tank-mounted device.”

Maybe this?

Rev 9:17And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses [were] as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.

Rev 9:18By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.

What a horrific weapon...and that was five years ago?!

Maybe this is it?

http://technology.newscientist.com/...s-of-laser-weapons-plausible-deniability.html

"A laser beam is silent and invisible. An ATL can deliver the heat of a blowtorch with a range of 20 kilometres, depending on conditions. That range is great enough that the aircraft carrying it might not be seen, especially at night.
With no previous examples for comparison, it may be difficult to discern whether damage to a vehicle or person was the result of a laser strike.
The 5.5-tonne ATL combines chlorine and hydrogen peroxide molecules to release energy, which is used in turn to stimulate iodine into releasing intense infra-red light."

May the "2 witnesses" were hiding in there :D

Reve 11:5 and if any them willing/desiring to injure them, fire is going out of the mouth of them and is devouring the enemies of them, and if any should be willing to injure, thus is binding to be killed.

Aw shuckz. Thks.
I just enjoy the Bible and no other book in the Universe comes close to it. I view it as a book "not of this world" so I tend to view it slightly differently than my fellow Christian brethren.

Gene 1:1 In beginning 'Elohiym created/filled <ath> the heavens and the land.
2 And the land she-became chaos/vain and voided, and darkness over faces of deep. And a spirit of 'Elohiym fluttering over faces of the waters

Reve 21:6 And He said to me:" it-has-become. I Am the alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end. I, to the one thirsting, shall be giving out of the spring of the Water of the Life gratuitously". [John 7:37/Reve 22:17]

This probably didn't happen, because, while the U.S.
has extremely-powerful laser weapons in testing, it
wouldn't test them out in the open, but on some
secret base in Nevada or New Mexico. And it wouldn't
bring any advanced laser-weapon into such an unsecured
area as 2003 Baghdad where the technology could be
captured by Islamist insurgents and given to Iran.

What could have happened was that a barrage of tracer
bullets from a tank-mounted machine gun pierced and
ignited a full gas tank on a bus, resulting in a fire
which melted the bus and nearby cars and almost
completely consumed the bodies of their passengers.
Al-Ghazali could have witnessed this, and as he
related it to others, found that he got more
attention, and perhaps more money from weird-news
sources, the more he exaggerated the tale of what he
claimed to have witnessed.

Or, this is a fifth or sixth-hand account of what
al-Ghazali claimed to have seen, so that an original,
factual account made by him, as it was passed from
person to person, could have become exaggerated and
transmogrified until it reached a weird-news website
in its current form.

Yes, it has relevance...Matt 24:6 ~ And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. Our nation probably has weaponry that would boggle our minds if we could see them. I don't think that infowars is exactly a knowledgable and truthworthy site to gleen info from.

That's good reasoning but not necessarily true. My wife's cousin's husband (boy that's a mouthful, or fingerful anyway) was in Iraq. I was talking to him on yahoo messenger while there and he said they use all kind of technology that he couldn't talk about. From some of the stuff I read (no, I don't believe everything I read), this is small potatoes compared from what they have.

The technology that a soldier in Iraq couldn't talk
about probably wouldn't include any technology used
out in the open for everyone to see and then talk
about, but would probably be more like classified or
even top secret reconaissance and surveillance
technology which is used in intelligence gathering,
and which is never seen by the public or by those
against whom it is used. And if it is inadvertently
detected by a surveillance subject, he can then be
covertly killed before he spills the beans about it
to anyone.

It could also include top secret lethal devices such
as intense-beam microwave "guns" which could be aimed
even from a long distance at the head or heart of a
targeted person, causing him to have a natural-looking
brain aneurysm or heart attack. Because microwaves are
invisible, these weapons could be used without there
being any witnesses to their use. For example, a van
containing such a weapon could drive alongside a car
containing the targeted person and direct the beam
at his head until he suddenly grabs it in pain and
drives off the road, or slumps over dead at the wheel.
The autopsy could show nothing but a run-of-the-mill
ruptured blood vessel in the brain. No foul play.

Or such a weapon could be set up in a rented room or
office next to or directly across the street from the
room or office of the targeted person. As he sits
there at his desk at work, or sits at home watching
TV, the weapon could be targeted from a distance onto
his heart until he suddenly grabs his chest in pain
and slumps over dead. The autopsy could show nothing
but a run-of-the-mill heart attack. No foul play.

How many healthy people have suddenly died from
"aneurysms" or "heart attacks" who were actually
secretly murdered from a distance with top-secret
microvave "guns" by some intelligence agency which
saw those people as a threat, or even just a potential
threat down the road, to something "vital to national
security", however the agency wished to define that?

There could also be non-lethal crowd-control
technology such as intense-beam infrared or microwave
devices which could be aimed at crowds causing them to
feel enough painful heat over every inch of their
bodies that they run away immediately, or at least
stop dead in their tracks, completely stunned and
immobilized with pain. While these devices may not be
classified, any actual use against civilians or
insurgents in Iraq could still be classified, out of
worry of any possible negative reaction by the U.S.
public or the world.

The problem, of course, would be that any use of such
non-lethal devices would be pretty hard to keep a
secret, as everyone affected by them could tell 1,000
people about what happened to them and it could become
a news story in no time.

So if the U.S. doesn't want some technology, or the
actual use of some technology, talked about, it's not
going to use it out in the open on public streets
for all to see, so that those directly affected, and
non-affected witnesses, can then go running off
telling the whole world about the new technology.

And if there were ever a case of a military unit being
ordered to go out and use some secret new highly-
visible lethal technology (such as a laser weapon) in
actual urban warfare and report back on how helpful it
was, the order would also be given to make sure not to
leave any witnesses alive: "for we don't want anyone
to start talking about this technology".

But no such order would be given, for fear of even one
member of the military unit balking at an unlawful
order to kill innocent witnesses, and then spilling
the tale to the press "to make sure this never
happens". And because the use of visible technology
out in the open on a public street would give the
opportunity for any number of unseen witnesses, e.g.
in windows, hiding themselves behind curtains, to run
out the back door and tell the tale before they could
ever be noticed, detained, and shot.

So it's not a question of what secret technology the
U.S. actually has or could have, but what secret,
visible technology the U.S. would actually use out in
the open for everyone to see and then talk about.
