    Hello

How does the Beast Convince the World he is God /Jesus.

This is not a scripture hunt more of an out load wondering.

I know what scripture says. So does every one in here. So do people all over the world. Everyone is waiting for him so how does he manage to deceive a world that is waiting for him.

This question haunted me for years.

The only answer I can come up with is this.................... and it is sooooo simple................ I was amazed it took me so long to see it.

So here it is. Everyone is waiting for a person to fulfill a particular set of event that person will be labeled the AC. For Example

Many Believe the AC will make a Pact with the Jews and help them rebuild the Temple.

So ask yourself this..... if a Man, say a leader of the EU, did just that how many people would believe beyond any doubt he was the AC. Now if the Temple was rebuilt how happy would the Muslims be. So if the EU then came to the defense of Israel that would just be more proof he was the AC.

    Example 2:

Say a EU Leader got shot in the head and then Lived. How many people would say he was the AC without even a doubt in their mind.

So what the AC must do is convince the world that someone else is the AC.

Now after the world is convinced someone is the AC and a series of events happen. What is everyone is waiting for............... What event. Well they are waiting for Jesus to show up and destroy him aren't they.

Now we can see why Satan and his demons have put so much effort into false doctrine over the centuries. It is to get to a point where people think the Arrival of the AC is one set of events that it really isn't. That way he can create that "Fake Set" of events convince the world someone else is the AC then he can show up with all signs and wonders destroy the Fake AC and convince the world he is Jesus returned to set up God's Kingdom.

The simplicity of this is diabolical

The beast never will claim to be Jesus. He will claim to have achieved God-hood.

When the person first claims to be have achieved God-hood is in 2Thessalonians2:4. Which in Ezekiel 28:1-10, God has him killed, saying...

2 Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:

In Daniel 11:36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.

37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

    ________________________________________________________________________________

So it is necessary to realize that the person thinks in his heart that the has achieved God-hood. He will hold the position that there are many gods, but he is the greatest of them.

Not to take anything from your speculation, but no, hardly anyone knows the Scriptures.

As to your speculation, in spite of whatever people know, there is a more powerful effect than knowledge at work in the habit of disobedience. In spite of all their wisdom, like as in the taking of the mark --what makes a person think that if they don't have the habit of obedience, they will even BE ABLE to avoid taking the mark, even if they recognize how it fits the predictions? "He who sins is a slave to sin". In spite of all their knowledge, I say, they will find it expedient to give up certain misgivings or do whatever else they need to do to accept him for what they need him to be, if they are not in the habit of pursuing Christ Himself.

So for those who believe that the papacy is the Antichrist, you think they will accept anyone or any system that destroys the papacy, as the true Messiah?

The person will be "Anti-Christ". He will be denying that Jesus is the Christ. He will be denying that Jesus was God come in the flesh. That is part of the essence of antichrist that John spoke of in 1John2.

You also need to get the terms matched up corrected with the roles. The person in Revelation 13 is the beast, no longer the Antichrist.

People will believe his original lie that the has achieved God hood because it will appear that he has overcome death - when the world sees him killed, dead in the casket for several days, then sit up back to life - as the whole world witnesses.

Along these lines; a simpler answer is, they want to be deceived...

I think it is time for you to start seriously learning about the end times and the events leading up to Jesus's return. Because we are closing in rapidly, and the hope for Christians, Jesus has provided a way of escape the worst of those times.

    Luke 21:
    29And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;

30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.

31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.

32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.

33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Why? The Adversary never denied Jesus when He was here. Neither did the demons. What they all did not want mentioned was the Gospel of the Kingdom for they had no place in it. They as a result built their own kingdom here and got a few billion to join it..

He who? If you are referring to the the pope? The pope(papacy) is not the AntiChrist, nor the beast, nor the false prophet.

The Antichrist is future tense. Not past tense.

    He can perform miracles.

Rev 13:13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
Rev 13:14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
Rev 13:15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

I can imagine youtube being filled with thousands of videos of this person doing all these miracles and wonders...the whole world, every religion and non-religion will be utterly enthralled by all of this.

So, the unobservant and unprayerful will not be counted worthy to escape: that's why they are susceptible to the strong delusion...

Basically. In 2Thessalonians2:4 when the person first claims to have achieved God-hood, many will believe him. It will be a big lie.

So after God has the person killed in Ezekiel 28:1-10, in Isaiah 14:18-20, God in disdain for the person brings him back alive, his soul cast out of hell. That will be the strong delusion that them who believe the big lie to start with.

2Thessalonians 2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

Mar 13:14 But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:
Mar 13:15 And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house:
Mar 13:16 And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment.
Mar 13:17 But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
Mar 13:18 And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter.
Mar 13:19 For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.
Mar 13:20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.
Mar 13:21 And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:

Why would at the time of the AoD would people claim Christ has returned? Well, the AoD is the Antichrist and the Antichrist will claim to be God, even claim to be Christ.

1Jn 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

So John says Antichrist shall come, and at that present time there were many. Those many are types and shadows while the Antichrist singular that shall come is what we call "The Antichrist".

    Anti:

    anti
    Thayer Definition:
    1) over against, opposite to, before
    2) for, instead of, in place of (something)
    2a) instead of
    2b) for
    2c) for that, because
    2d) wherefore, for this cause
    Part of Speech: preposition
A Related Word by Thayer’s/Strong’s Number: a primary particle
    Citing in TDNT: 1:372, 61

While anti can mean against it can also mean instead of as in a copy or forgery...ie: false Christ.

That's why people will say Christ has returned because the Antichrist will claim to be Christ.

Matthew 2:22 But when he heard that Archelaus did reign in Judaea IN THE ROOM OF his father Herod, he was afraid to go thither: notwithstanding, being
warned of God in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee:

"in the room of" is the word "anti" in the greek and from context and history we know that Archelaus was not Herods adversary, but that he was ruling
in his place, instead of his father. The Antichrist therefore will be claim to be Christ, ruling instead of Christ.

Who knows - we don't know how or when, and we won't know how or when until it happens (assuming we live to see it, which - a person from every time period since the Apostles claimed they would),

But one way I would see him being convincing is the idea that he is who Christ was, perhaps someone who is not named Jesus but has a similar name (like "Josiah Ben Hammon", it's completely made up but sounds Middle Eastern enough), claiming that the historical record was changed - in fact, probably fabricating more of the historical record like claiming he was married to Martha, the sister of Mary, claiming that Judas was never really condemned, claiming that Saint Paul distorted his teachings, etc., and finally - but most importantly - he will claim "the Truth" was lost, and he will reject the core ideas of morality in the New Testament as "Pharisaical" and "missing the point," maybe even going so far as to compare New Testament morality with "Fascism" and underlying some key principles of "revolutionary socialism" or "liberation theology" as "holy."

He will also be a massive hypocrite, someone like John Lennon, who constantly preaches equality, equality, equality but never lives it, but people will buy it due to celebrity intoxication.

Mar 13:21 is warning people against rumors that Jesus has returned to earth and is at some location.

It is not talking about the beast claiming to be Jesus. Jesus's return, there will be no way to mistake it, Matthew 24:27.

    Matthew 24:
23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

25 Behold, I have told you before.

26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
