I read through the other thread and I know I am getting old ... the years are adding up. For some unknown reason I still feel very young and more often than not people in their twenties seem "old" to me.

Agewise I am on the right board but I am wondering whether this is so maturity wise. Does anyone know sure tell signs for maturity?

Contemplating the question led me to think of the moment when I came to accept with some peace, the phrase, 'The more you know, the less you understand'. Early years were marked by a real need to be black and white about issues and have hard and fast rules. Now I tend to think more hueristically, through principle and rule of thumb, in distilling truth from the sum total of experience. There is a serene sense of order in the chaos.
