Audacity will do the job, cross platform and easy to use.
I will try this. But first I'm going to have to finally and reluctantly upgrade to Windows 10. I'm using 7 now. Lol. Thanks!

I would strongly recommend that anyway since Windows 7 is no longer being supported. Also, if you wanted to try it in Chrome (or the new version of Microsoft Edge), this extension says it can do it:
Chrome Audio Capture

Might be easier to use Chrome specifically for that when needed than screwing around recording it through Audacity.

Use WSL and get youtube-dl if it's even still available. It does the job quickly and efficiently. You can even get a front end that allows you to use it with a GUI (I think it uses Qt but I can't remember atm).
