LDS How did the three gods of the Mormon godhead become gods?

This tells people, rightly or wrongly, that the only answers you want to see are ones that agree with you.

Given this, why would anyone respond?

Mormons will undoubtedly try to discredit me (I've been here sixteen years). Anyone who accuses non-LDS of quote mining, ought to show us the context of the quotes, rather than making rude comments. There are many very nice Mormons who do not make those accusations.

So what is the question of this thread and which Mormon will come here and provide the answer?
