CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Feeling pretty good. Took a shower and had dinner, right now relaxing in bed on my laptop.
Last night I had to sleep in at the place where I work, since it snowed seven inches and I didn't trust driving my car out into that. It wasn't bad, and the snow cleared up enough the next day that I went out and got lunch before heading back to work.

Satisfied. 
Someone told me my marinaded and dehydrated tofu tastes a little like pork. Just finished 2½ sandwhiches with them as "meat". Yummy Yummy and no excess nitrates or dead (alive?) worms.

I'm feeling good. Did some serious study of the Gospel of Matthew earlier today, now I'm filling out the paperwork to apply for membership at my church. 
Although given how badly it might snow tonight, I wonder if I'll even be able to get out and hand it in? Ah well, there's always this Wednesday at the prayer meeting.
