Hello! Obviously I'm not Jewish, but I don't think that matters. I need some help, if y'all would be so kind, please?

My husband is a cop, and we are recently married. He has been friends with a Jewish couple for many years and I would like to invite them to our home for dinner and honor this friendship.

What do I serve? What do I do? Do y'all pray before meals? I want this to be perfect.

I hosted my first dinner to two Catholic nuns and their priest, and got a lot of help from the Catholics. Now I know to go to the experts!

I know meat has to be Kosher, correct? Ack -- help!!

Thank you so much!

All good things

I would simply ask them what level of kosher they observe, if any.
They may not care, in which case you can serve them whatever you like.
They may not care if the food is strictly kosher but don't want pork or shellfish.
It's best just to ask them.
If they do keep kosher, and you can purchase prepared kosher food, you could still
have them if you used paperplates/plastic glasses and silverware. And leave the food
in it's original containers.
