Hi, thank you for being a part of this forum..
Recently, I posted this and would like to share to everyone. God bless.
"WHAT IS IT FOR 2021?"...
Ive been praying and asking the Lord...
With all the doubts within and chaos without, uncertainties of the future, will this coming year be better? And I was left with reading and rereading the final book in the Bible, the only book among all 66 books, that has not yet come to pass.
"Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen."
Revelation 1:7
And I asked and pleaded the Lord for a song that would encompass this joy of awaiting His return.
For our blessed hope and assurance is in the coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus..
Am I (truly) ready for His return?
Am I putting my (false and fleeting) confidence in this passing world (family, achievements, material and temporal blessings, etc) rather than the eternal treasures in heaven?
Have I put my trust in Jesus?
It may be as simple as ABC, but our eternity forever hangs in it. This is not a matter of religion but our relationship with God through Jesus.
*A - ADMIT YOU ARE A SINNER
The Bible says that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Rom 3:23).
Sin separates us from God, and ultimately that means eternal punishment in hell. To escape sin's penalty, we need divine forgiveness. And it is ours through faith in the Lord Jesus.
*B - BELIEVE IN CHRIST
We must acknowledge that Jesus Christ, God in flesh, died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins, and we must trust Him for our salvation.
"Believe on the Lord Jesus and you shall be saved" (Acts 16:31).
Just as medicine is not a remedy until it is taken, so knowing the story of Jesus is not enough to save us. We must personally receive the Lord Jesus Christ.
*C - CONFESS YOUR FAITH
"If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Rom 10:9).
To confess our faith is to tell others of our belief in Christ. This should be a spontaneous outflow of the change in our heart.
Dear Lord,
Forgive me of my past sins and wrongs. Thank you for Your love to me by sending Your only Son Jesus.
I want a change in my life.
I now invite Jesus into my heart and life
as my personal Saviour and Lord.
Thank you Lord for the assurance of eternity with You and Your Holy Spirit living in me.
In Jesus' name I pray.
Amen.
May this song be the song in our hearts..
Jesus our bright and morning star
“I, Jesus.. am the.. the Bright and Morning Star.” Revelation 22:16
I personally chose this attribute of Jesus (after researching because I myself don't understand it) because it signifies that as the bright morning star rises while it is still dark, before the sun dawns, to give the hope of a coming new day, Jesus will do the same thing to us upon His return.
Hope is indeed coming...soon..."in the twinkling of an eye" (1 Corinthians 15:52).
Oh Come Maranatha...
Come Lord Jesus..

Come Maranatha
(Come Lord Jesus)
Singer-Composer: Tin K Arci
Yours is a Name that is shout through ages
King of all kings, Lord of Lords, True and Faithful
Yours is the key to new earth and heaven
Salvation, glory, power, and honor in Your Name
My heart shall one day see Your face
Your wisdom shall number all my days
Oh come quickly to my aid
You will remind this truth in grace
Chorus 1: Oh come Maranatha
You are the bright and morning star
Deliver us from this passing creation
Lead us to Your glorious throne
Oh Maranatha
Oh Maranatha
Yours is a bride clothed in pure white garments
Anointed with oil, prepared to feast in Your banquet
Yours is a battle no kingdom prevails
Your victory shall reign forever and ever.
My heart shall one day see Your face
Your wisdom shall number all my days
Oh come quickly to my aid
You will remind this truth in grace
Chorus 1: Oh come Maranatha
You are the bright and morning star
Deliver us from this passing creation
Lead us to Your glorious throne/loving arms
Oh Maranatha
Oh Maranatha
The earth groans
The heavens roar
All knees shall bow
All eyes behold
The Day shall come
Your kingdom overcomes
My heart shall one day see Your face
Your wisdom shall number all my days
Oh come quickly to my aid
You will remind this truth in grace
Chorus 1: Oh come Maranatha
You are the bright and morning star
Deliver us from this passing creation
Lead us to Your glorious throne
Chorus 2:
Oh come Maranatha
You are the First and Last - ALIVE
Reward our works, test our ways through the fire
Your words by faith, shall come to pass.
Oh Maranatha
Oh Maranatha
