Thought I'd post an answered prayer (with major thanks to a good many brothers and sisters in Christ here)

I saw the oncologist yesterday - my labs were very good

He stopped my "big" chemo drug (will continue on my dexamethasone once a week - but that's a piece of cake) and I don't need to go back for 3 months (have been seeing him 1-2 times/month for the past 13 months).

God has been very good to me - I am truly blessed.

That is great dave I too am tempted often to worry but have found turning such troublesome thoughts over to the Lord in prayer works extremely well most of the time for me. It is interesting as I know many others our age who have similar struggles now who did not when younger. Hmmm Wonder why?

Hi Jan, will keep you in prayer. There are so many different viruses going around. We've had people miss two weeks of work and still not be completely well.

Hi everyone. We are in a cold snap again. It is sory of slushing out. Not really snowing here although I hear it is in some areas of the lower mainland. I had to drive my Korean student to the charter bus that was taking the group to the airport for their return to their homeland. I think he will miss us. He was quite a nice young man shy and quiet and a bit nerdy but he worked so hard and his English greatly improved while he was here. Pray for him as I got the impression that he didn't get along with his family all that well and he is facing more hard studies on return.
