Well I got almost all of the stuff down I forgot some icicle lights in my kitchen that son put up as well as some upstairs. I may keep them they are nice. I made hubby vacuum. He has fig trees that get sticky and drop leaves like crazy. I want him to cure them or pitch them so I get really bossy about who cleans up their messes. (hey I had to do it for our old sweety doggy who is now in doggy heaven) so hes responsible for his pet plants. lol.
He really does love those ugly things. Anyway I think I will go to bed early tonight it is just 9:30 pm here but I have had a long day. Hope you all have a terrific sunday. i will be busy so may not get to post. Love ya. jan

Hello and good-morning Jan and everyone else too

I got an email from a sister this-morning

lol

here it is:

Too Cute

I was testing the children in my Sunday school class
to see if they understood the concept
of getting to heaven.
I asked them,
"If I sold my house and my car,
had a big garage sale
and gave all my money
to the church,
Would that get me into Heaven?"

"NO!" the children answered.
"If I cleaned the church"?
every day, mowed the yard,
and kept everything neat and tidy,
would that get me into Heaven?"

Again, the answer was, "NO!"
By now I was starting to smile.
Hey, this was fun!
"Well, then, if I was kind to animals
and gave candy to all the children,
and loved my husband,
would that get me into Heaven?"
I asked them again.

Again, they all answered, "NO!"
I was just bursting with pride for them.
Well, I continued, "then how can I get into Heaven?"

A five-year-old boy shouted out,

"YOU GOTTA BE DEAD."

Don't be too busy today...

Hi Debbie, Mary and everyone

I am going to be real busy for a while

in our bathroom
first,
I'll be painting the ceiling, in Brilliant White [vinyl silk finish]
and then I'll be doing the walls, in a warm MUSTARD [also, silk finish]
I 'made-up' / 'mixed-up' this 'colour' myself
from:
Tangerine Dream/ with, a 'test-pot' of, Blue
and, with 'lashings' of, Brilliant White

It's a little-warmer than the 'shades' of-colour
that I used in the stairwell... so, maintaining the THEME
All 'woodwork' is done in Brilliant White [gloss paint]

Am, 'working' my way through the house
albeit, much more relaxedly, than years ago,
when, then, I did, 'such stuff' professionally

I will, be looking in from time to time, whenever
I 'take a breather' from, up and down the 'steps'
[step-ladder]

:)
Be well everyone, and have a wonderful Son Shining Sunday

your Bro'

Hi y'all :)

Well, I got the ceiling done
and am leaving it to dry some,
before I 'snag-up'
on anything that remains PEEPING through [from below]
Then, I will start the walls

I checked out my emails
and 'found' that several emails that, I had sent to a sister
have been returned "Delivery Failed"

Please, see my latest-post
in the Prayer Requests Thread
thank you so-much

but of-course!
this life, that we have on earth, MUST END
and, it is to Heaven,
that we are then 'raised' to be with, our Lord and Saviour
and to be with, all of, our Brothers and Sisters whom have gone-on 'ahead'

Good Deeds [by themselves alone]
will not get us into heaven
For, we must follow in the teachings [footsteps] of, the Son
For, we must repent [to be forgiven our sins]
For, His name's sake
amen

Hi everyone!

Had really good church time this morning - we're learning more about the prophetic. Interesting.

Mare, I had my Slimfast this morning, but then needed a spoonful of peanut butter...LOL! You know, a little fat to get through the day.

You definitely need some fat in your diet. In fact if you cut fats out completely you really put yourself at risk for gallbladder problems. Flaxmeal has omega 3 fatty acids in it and I put that in my Slim Fast shake. Also at lunch I usually have some flat bread with peanut butter on it.

Good Morning to you Mary also my family here [the list GROWS]

We have 'something' over here called 'QUORN'
and is supposed to replace MEAT MINCE
and yes, I don't think it can REPLACE meat
UNLESS you have never had meat YOU WILL KNOW
RECOGNIZE it's presence

For sure, it can be used to fill-out a meat dish
but I, prefer the real thing.. as I am not a rabbit
[vegetarian]
:)

We have a George Foreman GRILL [FAT-EXTRACTOR :)
and when roasting in the oven
the fat, runs/dripss through a wire grill away from meat

Give it up ?
only in a case where supplies might become unavailable

Yep.... It doesn't get purchased here

Besides, I don't believe
there can be 'a substitute' for...... 'variety'
and 'selbst-beherrshungen' [self-control]
