Here are my new musings on improving an exasperating situation in a church, a state, a profession (the same traps befall us all, in every walk):

- realise everyone else is a victim too

- a power greater than ourselves intends to help get us out of the continual bad loops

- place principle above personality and Beg God to ensure all our elbows get jogged towards good & away from bad

- admit higher-ups suffer huge distractions of all kinds

- it doesn't depend on their earning brownie points or pushing our good buttons or necessarily even "showing" that they are subscribing to our views. It depends solely on our begging God and the good angels to jog their elbows right, just like Our Lord & His Angels jog ours.

Jesus is going to ask us solely that question and not "did you twist the higher ups round your little finger?"

This is a complete contrast to the old style of "moral equivalency" in which "we were no worse than you were" which was continually looking for more melodrama to befall us (coopting to becoming co-perpetrators) as well as projecting an image

Anyone agree? Got nuances to add?
