A few questions arose from me, lets face it, I fear hell. lol.

Lemme tell you what I do

The bad/questionable.

First off, I've drank before, and probably will do it again.
I've smoked pot, and might do it again. (I make no promises)
I sometimes party late on saturdays, thus not going to church on some sundays.
I have toiletpapered, and probably will do it again.
I've looked at inappropriate content and have masterbated. Can't promise I'll stop.
I listen to rock music thats likely to refer to sex, drugs.
I watch Kevin Smith movies like Dogma and Chasing Amy.
I've watched the man show, and cartoons like the simpsons and southpark.
Looked at girls in non platonic ways.
Play violent video games, and RPGs.
Downloaded not free stuff from p2p programs like Imesh.
Believe in Evolution.
Question hard to believe things in the Bible.

The Good.

I try hard in school.
Attend church when I can/want to, Participate in the band there.
A member of 4-H.
Love my family, and friends.
Forgive those who have harmed me.
Believe strongly in God, and have taken christ as my savior.
Work hard at my job.

Am I still a bad person? One could say I'm just a somewhat typical teenage boy, imperfect, like everyone else. I know my life isn't most pleasing to God, but am I still saved? Pray for me, and those like me.

That's all that is required my friend.

We are choosen people, and there is NOTHING that we can do to take away our salvation. I can not comdem you for the things you list above, as I am not without sin.

Keep on with questions that hard to believe in the Bible. It will grow your faith.

Just remember to live your life as Jesus would, and when you fail, fall on your knees and pray for forgiveness.

Gamer,

The mere fact that you have raised this question shows that you are coming under conviction by the Holy Spirit. He is nudging you in the right direction.

Life in Christ is a journey. We start out as horrible sinners and, for most of us, we slowly, sometimes agonizingly so, move toward a life that that is relatively sin free. Even Paul had problems with sin and cried out that he would do what he did not want to do. This is normal and OK.

Don't listen to those who would say that the instant you come to Christ you will instantly stop any sinful activity and never want to do it again, and that if this does not happen you were not truly saved. This is plainly against the testimony of the authors of the epistles.

We cannot do anything in and of ourselves, we can only do it with the help of the Holy Spirit. Talk to God, listen to what he is saying to you and follow your convictions.

You are a GOOD person.

Yours in Christ

If you do anything which makes you feel bad or guilty, then pray to Jesus to help you over come theses issues.
Its hard being a teenager, i was one once so i understand all the temptations! But the fact that you are trying hard to improve yourself is the main thing!
God bless :pink:

I don't think your a bad person, but if you know what you're doing isn't pleasing to god then Why do you do them? Maybe the your feeling convicted about the things you're doing!! Only God knows the intents of our hearts, only he can judge us. I hope God keeps blessing you over and over again!
God Bless

Question: Who can really answer that? According to things the bible says, if its taken literally, we don't deserve Heaven. Yet, I'm sure your also aware of John 3:16. So I was say, "you promised me." Call me cocky, but thats the only answer i think i could give.
My question wasn't asked in order to trick you. I just wanted to read your understanding of what your salvation is based on. All I was looking for was an affirmation of your confidence in the finished work of Christ at Calvary.

You should understand that your worthiness before God is not based on your righteousness, but Christ's alone. Everything we have as christians is because of our position "in Him." Though we're entreated to walk in a manner that is worthy (Eph. 4:1), sin in the christian's life doesn't disqualify them from salvation, but it does disqualify them from fellowship with God until it is confessed.

In Christ,
Tracey

Id say to pray very hard about some of the items on that list.
Changing into a good Christian isnt an overnite thing.
Its an ongoing process that takes time and effort.

Its all about SELF_CONTROL.

God knows youre heart and if you are really wanting to change.
If you are sincere, He will work with you usually a bit at a time.

Some of that stuff needs to stop immediatley with youre just committing to quit ( i think you can figure out which ones i mean)

you are going to slip.
Dont go jumping off a bridge over it.

But I want to show you this one small verse.

You have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.
(Heb 12:4)

How much are you willing to endure is striving against sin?

It seems to me that you are aware of the things in your life that you need to work on. Do you have a Christian friend from church or something that you could share your struggles with, maybe someone who struggles in the same areas, that you could help each other to overcome the problems.

The day you became a Christian you didn't automatically stop sinning. It is hard to stop doing the wrong things. I have been a Christian for 10 years and I still have times where I do the wrong thing.

Don't let anyone say you are a bad person. God will forgive you your sins. I think if he sees you are sincere in wanting to change and not do the bad things anymore, he will help you.
