My son asked me why, if Jesus died on Good Friday we celebrate Easter on Sunday. If you do the math, it is only two days, not three. He said, shouldn't we celebrate Easter Monday? Frankley I did not know what to answer.

We teamed up with Faith Counseling. Can they help you today?

It is believed that Jesus was actually crucified on Wed or Thursday.

I moved this thread because you will get more insights here.
