I joined this forum about 10 years ago, but didn't post much, and soon stopped. I thought I'd come back, so, as I'm effectively a new member, I'd better introduce myself.
I'm 66, a divorced postal worker living in Hemel Hempstead, about 25 miles north of London. I'm originally from Stockport, near Manchester. I'm a liberal anglican. Hobbies - cycling, cider making, apple growing, reading.

Yum, apples! Would that be scrumpy then or the more Amish (non-alcoholic version) of cider or something else? The Dutch don't seem to have been able to adapt to the introduction of cider which I find a bit of a shame...they're not as open minded as people like to think!
