Heart Camp

This week i attended Heart Camp located in camp Kon-O-Kwee in Pennsylvania. I have a heart problem and have attended since i was 11 years old. I haven't went in 4 years and this year i went as a counselor again.
However, June 1st an 18 year old girl passed away awaiting a kidney transplant. She was my co-counselor's best friend. Michelle has her good days and her bad days... but she realizes that Tanela was suffering a lot. I did not know them well and i'm just starting to get to know Michelle.

death is only a gate tha takes us to the afterlife with Christ, where there will be no pain or suffering. Here on earth, our loving Christ may allow us to suffer, so we may share in His sufferings for us on teh cross. This way, we can be glorified with Him in His kingdom as he is glorified. May The Lord help you in your role and in your life.
