Hi Family,

It seems like many denominations have conflicting beliefs.

How do you know if:
- your beliefs stem from " that's the way i've always done it" tradition
- you are actually getting wisdom and knowledge from the HS
- you believe just because that is how your denom does it
- its the Enemy
- its your own "wisdom"

Well, I'd say denominations are generally very similar in believes about the basics.
The secondary issues God doesn't tells us specifically what to believe. This is where your issues come in.

All those points you made do come into what we believe about those things. We have incomplete information and so be believe differently. But what are you going to do with those differences? Are we going to love one another or divide ourselves over things that Paul often teaches about its more important to have a good attitude than to get it right. For example what Paul says about the weak and strong brother.
