Healing

[Alenci]

I've been holding on to this pain for so many months. I feel that God is gently urging me to move on. All that I have asked for such as comfort I have received. I have tried to be "patient in affliction." I praise God for His patience with me. How now do I accept His healing? It is so hard to let go of the pain.

Maybe the occasional wallow in self-pity... not to Job proportions though.

I think the healing happens and in most cases we do not even see it.

I remember after my divorce I prayed for the pain to go away for MONTHS and the one day I woke up and it was gone.

I think just take each day as it comes, pray and in time. you will be healed
