John 4:24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship
in Spirit and Truth.

2 Corinthians 3:
17
Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
18 But we all, with unveiled faces, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord,
are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the
Spirit of the Lord.

Colossians 1:
15
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth,
visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers.
All things were created through Him and for Him.
17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.
18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn
from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.

Ephesians 5:
8
For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as
children of light
9 for the fruit of the Spirit is in all Goodness, Righteousness, and Truth,
10
finding out what is acceptable to the Lord.

1 Corinthians 15:
47
The first man was of the earth, of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven.
48 As was the man of dust, so also are those who are made of dust; and as is the
heavenly Man, so also are those who are heavenly.
49 And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the
image of the heavenly.

John 1:
3
All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.
4 In Him was life, and this life was the light of men.
5
And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

Colossians 3:
9
Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds,
10 and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according
to the image of Him who created him.

2 Corinthians 4:6 For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness,
who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God
in the face of Jesus Christ.

Revelation 22:4 They shall see His face and His name on their foreheads.

1 Corinthians 11:7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, since
he is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man.

All of those are wonderful verses, thank you. :)
However, they do not define the fruit of the Spirit as being the image of God. Yes we are being transformed into His image by the renewing of our minds. But the fruit of the Spirit is defined in the scripture as this
Galatians 5:22
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Ephesians 5:9
(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth; )

Yes we are being transformed into His image by the renewing of our minds.
God is Spirit, and we can only manifest His image from our spirit.

Ephesians 4:
20
But you have not so learned Christ,
21 if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus:
22 that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt
according to the deceitful lusts,
23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind,
24
and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true
righteousness and holiness.

30
And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
31
Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice.
32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

This is the manifestation of the Spirit toward others. The gifts of the Spirit enable us to minister
to others as Christ. The fruit of the Spirit enable us to manifest Christ to others. This is why Jesus
said:

John 14:
9
Jesus said to him, Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip?
He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, Show us the Father?

10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak
to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.

11 Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake
of the works themselves.

When we speak words given to us by the Spirit, when we do works by the power of the Spirit,
we are showing the image of God, as Christ.

2 Corinthians 4:6 For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness,
who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God
in the face of Jesus Christ.

The fruit of the Spirit are Divine Attributes imparted to man by His Son through
the Holy Spirit, unto His glory.

Revelation 22:4 They shall see His face and His name on their foreheads.

This is the Light of His Countenance showing upon ours for the world to see. To be
the "light of the world", as Christ commanded, as He is the Light of the world.

Your post helped me focus on what I believe God is calling me to do today. To remember the Holy Spirit is here to guide me, to use the gifts He has given me to serve others, and to be thankful for the fruit which comes from Him and my obedience to His WORD! Blessings to you!! Thank you!

Oh, I thought the OP was showing what the fruit of the Spirit was.
The OP is meant to present the image of God as manifesting to others by this fruit of the Spirit.
As has been often stated, we desire the world to see Christ in us.
I appreciate you taking the time to discuss this and hopefully add as much clarity
to the scriptures as possible, by the fellowship of the Spirit in us.
Let Jesus shine!

May we always bring glory to God in what we do, even the little things.
1 Corinthians 10:31 Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do,
do all to the glory of God.
