That is Houck’s story but it doesn’t make much sense. The man was escorting patients so how did he manage to get in anyone’s face? Protesters are legally required to keep their distance. Why, if the story is accurate, was the boy’s face in the old guy’s way? Houck reportedly assaulted him twice in the same day. What corroboration is there for Houck’s account? The old man was hospitalized as a result of Houck’s assault on him.
I’m surprised that you would assault an old man rather than remove your boy from the situation. That’s not admirable.

While the father has every legal right to take his child into what is highly likely to be a dangerous/contentious situation, and no one should accost the child even when they have been brought into an inappropriate venue, I would love to remain naive and believe most fathers would prefer to protect their children by not putting in what they very well know could be harms way to begin with.

If there was a genuine concern about the well being of children in this nation we would not have any debate about the immorality of abortion.
