We went to the local Astronomy Club which had its members set up their telescopes for the public. What a view! The skeeters were terrible so we only stayed until 9:45 - saw the ice cap (I think) but the real thrill was seeing the stars. There are billions more than we can see with the naked eye. Our God is indeed a mighty God. It took my breath away!!!

Saw it last night. Not much to see with the naked eye. I imagine you would need some kind of telescope to see it much better. It looks like a bright, somewhat orange, star.

It was still pretty cool. I imagine the Hubble is getting some good shots.

The big event happened yesterday, which happened to be my birthday. I'm still trying to figure out if this is my sign from god to convert, or if it is a news-media inspired communist conspiracy of god-haters prophetic kind of thing.

Happy Birthday, Firscherscherling!

If you figure you should convert and then you do so sincerely, all heaven will sing praises to God for your salvation!!!! A fitting celebration!

The Hubble is actually too powerful to view it. :)
