The media narrative is that blacks support the policy demands of BLM. Celebrities such as LeBron James and other athletes make it appear that their policy objectives have wide support in the black community. In fact they do not.

Polling clearly shows that blacks don't support defunding the police. They want more police in their neighborhoods, likely with some different tactics. That's a far cry from defunding police, which seems to have support only from the loudest voices in the black community and white liberals.

I saw polling out the other day that indicates that young blacks, particularly men, do not believe the Democrats have their best interests in heart. While they favor the Democrats, they have a much more positive view of the Republicans compared to older blacks. The GOP trails among young blacks by less than 10 points while it trails older blacks by 60 points. That suggests to me that there is a significant number of young blacks who don't buy into the liberal narrative about racism in the Republican Party and in doing so are questioning whether the Democrats have been good for their communities. While not per se a rejection of BLM, it shows that BLM's agenda has shaky support at best.

As for all the white people at these protests, it's clear they're radical revolutionaries who see an opportunity. They're just using blacks to push a radical socialist agenda.

For some reason, the media often likes to find a balck person or a few black people in the crowd and place them in the forefront of any picture of protesters. If one takes only a cursory glance, one will not notice that the black person or the few black people in the forefront are surrounded by almost exclusively white faces.

In truth, we see both. The Black Lives people are steadily becoming black separatists, so I suppose it follows that it's becoming easier for onlookers to notice that the two races are separated, even in a riot.

...for an end to police protection for the citizenry, unless it's a case of the black community needing help when victimized by crime.

It's not just the white hooligans. However, it does appear that many blacks, and particularly black businessmen and women, are also being victimized by BLM.

But for some reason they do not speak out about it very much or else the media don't find that to be of enough interest to warrant reporting it.

BLM does definitely seem to have made common cause with (the almost totally white) Antifa, however. That was a big mistake on their part. Still, it is not too surprising, considering that both organizations are Marxist in origin.

Their grievances?
They keep claiming "systemic racism", even though they occupy offices of every level of business and government, including the Supreme Court and 8 years of the presidency. They even get to start organizations that are racist and exclusive while claiming they don't have the freedom to even be "equal". Black entertainment Television, Black news channel, Ebony Magazine, Bounce TV, etc. Even a "Black National Anthem". Sure, try doing "white" versions of those things and see what happens. That's not seeking equality. It's seeking favoritism--and then still claiming unfairness when they get it. And have you noticed that nearly every TV commercial has black people in them, and yet they still claim to be under-represented? A quick Google search shows that blacks make up 13.4% of the US population. It would seem that they're being over-represented, and yet they still claim "systematic racism".

Instead of grievances, how about the black community start appreciating what they have instead of listening to those who tell them to demand more than their fair share?

The NBA's position on China has been nothing short of evil. They banned criticism of China among their employees. Meanwhile, they're sending coaches over to a basketball academy in China that treats players like slaves and abuses them. No criticism of that is allowed. They played pre-season games within miles of slave labor concentration camps, all without comment.

You fail to understand the ramifications of 2050 and what it means to the black community. Yes, we will be in in the minority in our own country. But do you realize that blacks will be outnumbered 2:1 by Hispanics and what that means? Blacks will also be out voted 2:1 by Hispanics. Hispanic interests are not the same as black interest. For example Hispanics played no part in slavery or in the Jim Crow Laws of the Democratic South. They would not support reparations of any kind for blacks.

Let's look at those Jim Crow Laws and the lynching that occured in the South. Those laws were written by Democrats. In those horrific pictures of the lynching of blacks they are surrounded by white people that brought their children to see it. Those white people are Democrats.

A little reminder of Black History. Who founded the Klan? Democrats. Who stood in the doorway at Ole Miss? A Democrat. Who controlled the dogs, clubs, and firehoses in Alabama? Democrats. Who ordered the wiretapping of Dr. King? A Democrat. Who filibustered the Civil Rights Act? Democrats. Who supports open borders so that blacks will be outnumbered and out voted 2:1 by Hispanics? Democrats. Who ordered the integration of Little Rock High school? A Republican.
