My Father who is in Heaven,
Have I forgotten what You have done for me?
You saw me in my brokenness,
You answered my cry for help.
I asked You to make Yourself known to me,
And with Your gentleness You took me by the hand.
Through Your Word You revealed to me the Truth of life.
While I was a babe You were patient with me.
Your forgiveness abounded as I stumbled along,
But You gave me strength and never abandoned me.
Sorrow lived inside me, and heartbreak left me wounded.
But like a loving Father You restored me, and healed all of my afflictions.
Through Your guidance I have grown strong,
And by Your hand I am raised up.
