Recently, I started reading "Renovations of the Heart: Putting on the Character of Christ" by Dallas Willard, and "The New Reformation: Unfinished Business Returning the Ministry to the People of God" by Greg Ogden. I'm not very far into them, but I'm finding that they are radically different in some ways from the way I was brought up in the IFB churches, and even what I've experienced in the SBC churches since we became Southern Baptists in 2000. Anyone have any input on these books and authors?
