"May you or the fathers in your life have a peaceful and joyous day nurtured in the love which you or they nurtured. However, it doesn't always come back due to misunderstandings or whatever but the love sowed, rest assured, IS bearing wonderful fruit in someone's life. Ultimately, the gift of selfless love, appreciated or not, will reap a reward however it may come back not as expected or of which hoped. Rest and rejoice in knowing that someone IS bathing in and rejoicing in your love passed on.
And for those who are painfully missing that selfless loving father at an empty chair for this day's "feast" or lying in an empty bed tonight may you be comforted by knowing that what you miss is living on in you whether you realize it or not and he is rejoicing every time you live the legacy.
