I love forsythia. Unfortunately it's not cold enough here for them to really bloom well.

The bushes have a pretty red berry in the fall but the all year thorns are a bit much.

Some kind of holly? Those can be good I guess in front of windows where you don't want to risk instruders hiding, etc. I've never cared overmuch for them.

Well, I found out last week that every picture I have uploaded with my semi new Samsung Galaxy 8 from since April has had the GPS coordinates to my house, kitchen, garden and every other place around me. Creepy

Hence, the missing posts.

Oh wow....I never thought about that. I'll have to check out my phone camera to see if it has that included! I certainly don't want to share that information online!

I know! I copied a picture and put it on my flicker page and right away a map appeared to show the location. At first I was deleting any posts that had a picture, and then I started checking the pictures because not all of them are from my phone. The others have some imbedded info to like my name, but most here know that already.

I should think of that more carefully. I noticed several years ago on the farm that my pics sometimes included general location info, but I haven't thought about it enough since then.

I wonder if there are settings to turn that off.

I wonder if there are settings to turn that off.

There are, I can turn off my GPS so the information does not appear in the EXIF data of the picture but I use the GPS to monitor my steps and other health apps. I just need to remember to turn it off and back on when I need it or use a different camera like I did in the past.
