Amen I thought that too.. lol'As the deer panteth for the water'
I told it judgement was coming soon. Next November when Deer season startedHey it says we are to speak the gospel to every creature KJV Mark 16:15. Or depending on the translation it may say all creation. So did the deer get the good news !?
You can hear Gods love for creation and the wildlife in Job, I can anyway.
KJV and she didn't mind at all. LOL She grazed all around even at 7 yards and hardly paid me any mind at all. I was sitting by a hedgeapple tree and that is what you see in the picture on the ground.I think every encounter with nature is an encounter with God.
He seems to have brought you peace - what a blessing!
What translation were you using?
So I go to the woods today to have a little quiet bible time and enjoy God's creation and look who came to see what translation I was using
Yes you can tell. God made the animals and saw that it was good :] They are a blessing to watchHey it says we are to speak the gospel to every creature KJV Mark 16:15. Or depending on the translation it may say all creation. So did the deer get the good news !?

It's part of our joy. I don't hunt anymore and truth be known I never enjoyed watching life leave a living creature, that was magnified ten fold when I watched life leave my fathers eyes. Ever since then I don't hunt. I do fly fish though but at that half the time I just watch them rising, maybe read the bible and go home line still dry. If the mood really strikes I need to fish then. You have to watch what you say to the Lord, I've said " Lord when I've caught a couple of fish I'm leaving". Immediately following I catch two fish and then it's as if there were no fish in the water. He takes things literally sometimes !Yes you can tell. I love animals, I hate to kill, But I love to partake of the healthy meat I do take animals to eat because I am a hunter, But I take no joy in somethings death at all. It's part of our joy. Wow, It must have just knocked it out.I used to hunt, and commented to my sister we could have taken the one in the pic from the house, easily.
Last deer we took down was it bolting in front of the truck. Decided best not to waste the meat, loaded it up and all was well until...several miles down the road when that dead dear started moving. We stopped and it took awhile but he finally shook it off and ran off, at least appearing no worse for wear.
The hit was so hard and at such a high speed, we didn't even think to check if it was alive....remarkable, and happy ending.
Wow, It must have just knocked it out.
I love fresh venison and it is without a doubt a blessing to have the freezers full.
Amen, I am so blessed in that I have been able to partake of my limit every year which is 6 deer per season via all methods Bow, Muzzleloader and Modern Gun. I stopped at 3 this year because someone gave me one of theirs so I didn't need anymore. These four deer will hold me over till next year. I butcher, Grind and steak my own meat so I never buy beef unless I am craving a steak or something.I wanted to finish it off because I was concerned it would get out there and die a slow death from internal injury, but fortunately it at least looked like it was fine. We'll never know for sure.
Love venison. If one lives in the right area and has a clue what their doing, the very high price of beef is of little concern. That type meat is something we should all have plenty of if we like it, but that's not always the case.
