Wisconsin Republican Party says hackers stole $2.3 million
What a shame that Senate Republicans rejected bills to provide funds for election security numerous times because they believed that election hackers would only hurt Democrats (as they did in 2016?)

I hope this is a wake-up call to every legislator that election security is vitally important, and that you don't try to figure out which way the wind is blowing before providing funding.
Lest you think that only Republicans have been targeted:
In the meantime, I hope that they apprehend these hackers--as well as hackers who are trying to disrupt our election.

There have been more than 800 attempted phishing attacks for financial gain targeting the Wisconsin Democratic Party this campaign cycle, but none has been successful, said party spokeswoman Courtney Beyer.
