GREs

Anyone else here plan on taking the GREs? If so in what subject (or just general) and what are you doing to study?

I'm a psychology major, but I'm just planning on taking the General Test. My fiancé and I are planning on taking it October 5th, we're both really nervous... it's the kind of thing where you wonder if you have studied enough.

If anyone has any advice for us, please let us know. We feel pretty confident about the math section, but the verbal is what we're trying to work on. We took a practice exam, and we didn't do so hot on the verbal section.

We could both really use any help anyone can give us...

They have separate subjects? I just thought they had a general...hmm this might help my grad opportunities after all!

If you are majoring in a science or psychology you need to take the subject test for your major. I’m not to worried about the general, the math one though is a different story.

I'm not going to be taking it this year, as I'm a junior, but I will be taking it next year to get into grad school.

I think I'm going to be doing a lot of studying for it though.

I didn't have to take any tests to get into grad school. I just needed reference letters from some undergrad profs and my undergrad transcript
