Great Liturgy today

St Demetrius today so though we couldn't have lunch afterwards [ Church upstairs was in use ] we had a wonderful Liturgy.

Father has some myrrh from St Demetrius's relics so after Liturgy we were all anointed

Some of our tinies were with us and they bring smiles to everyones' faces

Afterwards I caught the Choir leader and congratulated him Singing has been poor for quite some time - but today ........

They started to sound like a choir , AND for the very first time during the Litanies there was no obvious break after the end of the Petition to the start of the response - it was seamless and I know that is not easy.

Pity about the lunch - but we had 'red horse' biscuits baked by one of our members

So glad to hear! I had hoped to attend today but ... work is starting to make things difficult.

I'm glad to hear the music is improving in your community, and those littlest ones are so precious!
