I'm writing from Swan Films, we have made the BAFTA winning documentaries with the artist Grayson Perry.
We are currently making a new series with Grayson about 'rites of passage'. In it he is going to explore ceremonies and see how they are adapted to fir more contemporary milestones.
In our episode examining marriage we really want to follow the story of an interfaith wedding. The idea that Grayson will spend time with the couple on the run up to their wedding, learn about each of their backgrounds and create artwork that will feature on their big day. It is going to be a celebratory look at multicultural Britain today.
I'm looking to speak to mixed faith couples who are planning on getting married roughly between winter this year and Easter next year. It would be brilliant to hear from anybody that fits the bill, I would love to pick your brains and explain a little bit more about the project.
