Got some bad news...

A friend of ours has been diagnosed with cancer. Kidneys, base of his spine and liver. His name is Sam. Prayers appreciated. I doubt he will be here Christmas so prayers that he gets himself right with God would be nice as well.

This is my sister in laws brother. The one that started a bunch of crap in the family. Greg knew her brother as a teen and they were room mates at one time. This was before Sam's sister and my husband's brother got married. So this is another one of those miserably dysfunctional situations.

Offering prayers and hope. I had a friend who was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. I remember saying something similar, "I doubt he will be here next year." That was 9 years ago. I talked to him today.
Hope!

Well we found out today it is also in his lungs. He is very weak and in pain. He does not want to hear a thing about cancer at all. He said he is just living one day at a time. Continued prayers appreciated for him. As well as his spiritual wellbeing.

He just seems weak and in pain. There are going to do a scan Monday to see if it is in his brain.

Just an update. He is being administered morphine every hour at home. He will not be here much longer. He is somewhat panicking which can be normal as the end is near. Pray for his peace physically and spiritually.
