I venerate Fr Daniel as his writings and zeal speak to me. I think we are a few decades away from canonization, he was not reputed to have any exceptional gifts (no clairvoyuence or healing) which I think is unfair, as his zeal and converts are more than a manifestation of a spiritual gift.
