Such a good prayer; Lord bless us with rest and a covering of your peace.Grant rest to the weary Lord, may your peace cover their dwelling places.
He will cover you with his pinions,
and under His wings you will find refuge;
His faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
Psalm 91:4
Sorry to hear about your experiences with the dogs. Aggressive dogs can be a real nuisance. I remember one came up to me in Cannock Chase and I complained to the owner - they need to take more responsibility for their dogs.Well, an interesting day today! I have a problem with my left arm being shaky, holding a fork is a challenge but I can cope.
But my nerves have surfaced in being afraid of dogs. Our estate suffers from a surfeit of dogs of all shapes and sizes. It has become worse this last couple of years. Encounters with aggressive dogs off leads hasn't helped. My cleaner was attacked and bitten a few days ago. I prayed and found a verse straight away,
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
Joshua 1:9 KJV
I just wish my nerves would get the message.
I have to say it wasn't my favourite film - the earlier ones were much better. I even think Skyfall and Spectre were much better. I always think the earlier Bond films (Roger Moore, Sean Connery) were still the best - there was more humour in them I think!So pleased to hear that your day went well. How was the film? There have been a few different characters playing James Bond over the years. Sean Connery was good and Roger Moore was fun.
They seem to have become a little more violent lately, too serious.
They were always 'tongue in cheek' and suitable for all ages.I have to say it wasn't my favourite film - the earlier ones were much better. I even think Skyfall and Spectre were much better.
