Goodnight dear friends, a busy day but very good. I took some books on cancer to the cancer warriors shop for them to pass on to anyone who wants them. I have kept some books,

Couldn't sleep tonight, so I am on the night watch again dear friends.

An interesting day! We had the plumber to deal with a leaky tap.
An electrician to sort out a problem with the electrics, kept going off.
All sorted, and washing dried outside on the line, beautiful.
Well goodnight dear friends, I pray for a good night's sleep tonight for us all. Last night was not too good, but the cocoa was good at 4.30am.

our odd job man Phil mended 2 outside lights, he is so good and seems able to do anything. Peter soon gets tired and I feel the Lord has provided us with the help we need.
Easter Sunday tomorrow, so strange not going to Church. It has been an unusual year.

Goodnight all - hope you had a fantastic and blessed Easter Sunday.
The joy of today is not over - it will last for all eternity.
I had a bit of a double celebration today - being both my birthday and Easter Sunday. I celebrated by singing along with some of the glorious Easter hymns online this morning, followed by a walk this afternoon in the fabulous sunshine. Catching up with the birthday wishes on social media and text. And this evening it was minted lamb burgers, tripled cooked chips and veg, followed by luxury apple pie and vanilla pod ice cream. I didn't buy a birthday cake because I'd probably need to take out a mortgage just to pay for all the candles!
It's been a busy day and now I'm ready for bed.
Hope you have a peaceful night and thought I'd post something soothing and peaceful. One of my Eastertide favourites.
Forth He came at Easter, like the risen grain,
Jesus who for three days in the grave had lain;
Quick from the dead the risen One is seen:
Love is come again like wheat that springeth green.
When our hearts are wintry, grieving, or in pain,
Jesus' touch can call us back to life again,
Fields of our hearts that dead and bare have been:
Love is come again like wheat that springeth green.
