lots of piano playing this evening. I am making recordings of my pupil's exam pieces and sending them to her on Skype. All this technology, it is so clever. I am learning quite a lot.

I'm on call this week, so have woken up early this morning. My sturdy clock radio has stopped working after all these years. For a long time I've been intending to get one of those gorgeous Roberts 1950s style DAB radios. I think I deserve to treat myself. I've worked so hard! Might make a trip to Argos.

Had a busy day at work - but managed to come home on time!
Well thankfully the trick or treaters haven't come to my flat this evening. I've got nothing to give them in the way of treats as I usually end up scoffing all the sweets myself.
Time to think about going to bed as I'm up early in the morning!
