Goodnight all. I've done a lot of walking today and caught the sun! Enjoyed the walk along the Ceredigion coast path and came back to Borth in the sunset, just in time for a tandoori chicken takeaway.

Water pump nearly on the fritz??, should have gone with the expense while the getting was good! Two years old with a six-month warranty. Sometimes it just doesn't pay.

Goodnight everyone. Praying Peter has a much better night tonight - that God will watch over him and look after him and that all my friends here will have a peaceful night's rest.
I got back from Borth today and missing it already. I love Wales, especially Ceredigion Bay, it's friendly hospitable people, the amazing sea and mountain views, the coastal and country walks, and even hearing a bit of welsh spoken from time to time. The B&B owner was really friendly and helpful. It's such a nice journey on the train - only a couple of hours but very picturesque throughout.

Yes, i miss our log cabin in Wales, we love the sea and the walks in the forest. And the mountains. So pleased to hear that it was good.

Thanks everyone, found the pump 'of my dreams', brand new and upgraded with everything but joint-tape and wrenches to install and soo close to home. Once read somewhere one of these Flint-Walling pumps ran non-stop (no shutdown cycle) 24/7 for seven years for some strange purpose. New units are pricey, but, isn't that usually where quality comes in?
