Stuart Townend is a very gifted songwriter. I love most of his songs, but he tends to use a lot of guitar and drums, when I think more "classical" arrangements suit them better.

I do like his music very much - it inspires and challenges, but it also comforts.
I've just done my daily exercise down to the local Spar shop to pick up some bread and ... frozen scampi! Just cooked it up in the air fryer and it's delicious!

Two doses of chemo at home and now we have a few weeks to recover.

We should sleep tonight, Dear Father bless us all,

Glad to hear the radiotherapy treatment is completed and Peter is now able to recover at home. Praying for him while he has his chemo treatment at home.

During these times of "self isolation" where everyone is spending most of their time at home, I wonder how many people who live in big families are thinking about how they will manage to have their quiet time alone.

I'm sure God doesn't want space away from us. He loves to hear our voices. After all, He is the One who gave us our vocal chords, with the ability to speak, laugh and cry, and He is more than happy to spend every hour every day with us, rejoicing over us with singing, and there's nothing we can do to stop Him!

This evening, may you rejoice in the One who who rejoices over you.

I'm struggling to get to sleep.
Every time I close my eyes, I feel nauseous as if I need to be sick and an unpleasant giddy sensation. Tried the vertigo relieving manoeuvre, but it is not working and no more tablets either. Will just have to ride it out until it settles eventually. I can hear the birds chirping outside. Should have been asleep hours ago!
