My new is Dan, 37, from Australia, Christian and on a six month break from my enrolment at university in Bachelor Of Counselling and about to start community srices course at another institution for six months. I have also worked in youth work and worked with young people in various areas (Including Education).
Whilest I was completing the Yourth Work Dipolma attafe, my friend saw I was struggling with my mental health. He gave me a needed kick to getting some help for my depression and anxiety, which was destroying my participatiom in life and in the course. He also helped me looked into turning to Christ salvation. Since then I am regularly attending meetings with my pastor and also have been dealing with life’s challenges. I believe this a fundamental test to my new faith and so far I am handling the test through prayer and reading and writing.
