Golgotha...the place of a skull...

Peace.

Jesus was brought unto the place “Golgotha”….meaning “the place of a skull” or the place of a cranium where He was crucified. He was numbered with the transgressors.

This is the end of the history lesson. Now, I want to talk about what this means for us today as Christians.

Mark 15:22 KJV
(22) And they bring him unto the place Golgotha, which is, being interpreted, The place of a skull.


Mark 15:27-28 KJV
(27) And with him they crucify two thieves; the one on his right hand, and the other on his left.
(28) And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And he was numbered with the transgressors.

The place of the skull or cranium is where the brain or mind is.

Our minds can be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ….the true Christ.

We can be deceived into following “another Jesus”….in the place of the skull where our minds can be deluded. We hear the preaching of false prophets and reckon in our minds that this is the true Jesus that they (the thieves) are preaching. But the thief only comes to steal, kill and destroy the life of the true Jesus out of our own lives. Yet, we esteem that the "Jesus" that they preach is among them. We number Him among the transgressors...the thieves.

2 Corinthians 11:3-5 KJV
(3) But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

There are many false prophets who come forth to preach “another Jesus” who is not the true Christ but is of the “antichrist”….the instead-of the true Christ. And MANY are being deceived by them. They receive another “spirit” which is not of God. Many have come in the name of Jesus and say that the jesus that their preaching is the true Christ. (but is the antichrist instead of the true Christ).

They want you to receive the teaching of their “Jesus” the “son” (Barabbas….which means “son of the father”) of their church fathers rather than the true Jesus who is called the Christ and is the true Son of the Father in heaven.

In our minds is where we choose to serve “another Jesus” and crucify the true Jesus out of our minds and lives. We count that the true Jesus is among the thieves where they destroy Him instead.

(4) For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.
(5) For I suppose I was not a whit behind the very chiefest apostles.

They want you to choose their “Jesus” Barabbas and not THE Jesus who is called the Christ.

They want you to take your faith away from the true Jesus and put your faith in their “Jesus” who is served by the doctrines and commandments of men that many judge others with.

They “murder” (judging others, hating others) others by the serving and worshipping the doctrines and commandments of men that serve their “Jesus” who is a “wild beast” and not the “Lamb slain”.

Matthew 27:17 KJV
(17) Therefore when they were gathered together, Pilate said unto them, Whom will ye that I release unto you? Barabbas, or Jesus which is called Christ?

Our “rulers” convince us to desire their “jesus” the Barabbas and destroy THE true Jesus who is the Christ out of our minds and lives.

Matthew 27:20-23 KJV
(20) But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask Barabbas, and destroy Jesus.
(21) The governor answered and said unto them, Whether of the twain will ye that I release unto you? They said, Barabbas.

We deny the Holy One and “kill” the Just One in order to serve the other “Jesus” that we have been deceived into following. We must deny ourselves and take away the cross in order to follow the true Christ.

(22) Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified.
(23) And the governor said, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified.

Those who are “bound” into the serving of their “Jesus” the Barabbas make “insurrection” with him….even today…as they others (“murdering” others). Their “jesus” has given them the “freedom” to do so while disregarding the Holy Commandment of the true Jesus who commanded us to love one another.

Mark 15:6-8 KJV
(6) Now at that feast he released unto them one prisoner, whomsoever they desired.
(7) And there was one named Barabbas, which lay bound with them that had made insurrection with him, who had committed murder in the insurrection.

They receive the “teaching” of the “another Jesus”: do unto others as others have done unto them.

(8) And the multitude crying aloud began to desire him to do as he had ever done unto them.

But our Jesus is the Lamb slain and not a “wild beast” that “murders” others.

Our Jesus teaches to do to others as we would have them do to us.

We are to die to the sin: the sin of killing others by the judging and speaking evil of them supposedly in the authority of His name.

Do to others as you would have them do to you.

Matthew 7:12-15 KJV
(12) Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
(13) Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
(14) Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

But the false prophets do not come to teach this. They come teaching their commandments of men that seem righteous in the minds of many and so are led down the broad way to the destruction of their mortal bodies. These false prophets are the “thieves” that we reckon that the true Jesus is among.

(15) Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

In our minds (the place of the skull), we count….estimate….reckon….that the true Jesus (the Holy One) is being preached by the false prophets. We reckon in our ignorance that He is among them and so we must go and be with them in their churches where the true Christ is being denied in the minds of many.

Acts 3:14-17 KJV
(14) But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;
(15) And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.

Our faith is to be in the true Christ who is the Prince of Life whom God has already raised from the dead. He shall bring His eternal life to our mortal bodies through faith in His name.

(16) And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
(17) And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers.

We can be deceived by the many false prophets who are supposedly preaching “Jesus” to us. There are many voices now in this world preaching their version of “Jesus” who they are calling the “Christ”.

They come in His name (the name of “Jesus”) and proclaim that the “Jesus” that they are preaching is the true Christ (“I am the Christ”).

Many are being deceived into following their brand of “Jesus” who is served by the serving and worshipping of the doctrines and commandments of men that are not saving the mortal flesh of anyone as they are being used to judge others with.

Matthew 24:4-5 KJV
(4) And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
(5) For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

Our minds….located at the place of the skull…is where we are persuaded by them to choose their version of “Jesus” (who is the “antichrist”…the instead-of the true Christ) and crucify the true Jesus who is the Christ out of our own lives.

We reckon that the true Jesus is among the preaching of false prophets where His eternal life is being extinguished from ever appearing in those who are being led astray by them.

We reckon Him among the thieves. But the thief comes not but for to seal, and to kill, and to destroy as they lead many down the broad way to their destruction of their mortal bodies.

John 10:10 KJV
(10) The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

They….the false prophets…deliver us up to be afflicted and shall kill us. They misuse the name of “Jesus” whom they are calling the “Christ” to do this.

And so the outside nations of this world see the work of the thieves in the churches (the den of robbers) and speak evil of us and of His Holy Name. We are hated of all nations for His name’s sake even though the false prophets are misusing His name to preach their “another Jesus” of their fathers who is the “antichrist” instead of the true Christ who is the Son of the Father in heaven.

The nations see the false prophets making merchandise of the people and so blaspheme the Holy Name of God and publicly lash the churches.

Matthew 24:9-11 KJV
(9) Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
(10) And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
(11) And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

The eternal life of Jesus is being prevented from ever appearing in this earth as the keeping of His daily sacrifice is being removed out of the lives of so many who are being deceived by the many false prophets who are preaching “another Jesus”…..a “Jesus” the “Barabbas” who is the son of their “father” and is a “wild beast” rather than the “Lamb slain”. Their “jesus” is a robber, murderer and insurrectionist just as the historical Jesus the Barabbas was.

If we would keep the “daily sacrifice” of our true Lord Jesus (the Lamb slain)….always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, then the eternal life of THE (definite article) Jesus shall be made manifest in our outer mortal flesh.

2 Corinthians 4:10-11 KJV
(10) Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
(11) For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

We are to receive the promise…the promise of eternal life in this earthly, mortal body.

Hebrews 10:36-38 KJV
(36) For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

For yet a little while, He the IS COMING (not “shall come”) shall be arriving and not delaying.

(37) For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.

The Just One shall live by our faith in His name. His (the Just One’s) eternal life shall be made manifest in our mortal flesh through our faith in Him.

(38) Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

But the Son of man goes (shrinks away) out of our mortal lives when we are led astray and deceived by the preaching of “another Jesus" by false prophets. His manifested eternal life in our mortal bodies is been betrayed in the hands of sinners who are preaching “another Jesus” who is NOT the Christ.

Matthew 26:24 KJV
(24) The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born.

The rich pastors who are only feeding themselves and not the flock of God. They live in pleasure upon the earth and rejoice in their hearts as in the day of slaughter for the eternal life of Jesus is not being made manifest in the mortal flesh of those that they are leading astray down the broad way to their destruction of their mortal bodies from this earth.

James 5:5-6 KJV
(5) Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter.

They condemn and kill the Just One (the manifestation of the eternal life of Jesus in our mortal flesh)....

(6) Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you.

The false prophets do not preach that the eternal life of Jesus is to be made manifest in our mortal flesh in this earth. They do not confess…acknowledge…this in any of their preaching….in any of their words.

1 John 4:1-3 KJV
(1) Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
(2) Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

Every spirit (breath) of men that do not preach that Jesus Christ IS COMING now in the flesh (our mortal flesh) is not of God. They are preaching “another Jesus” who is of “another spirit” and their Jesus “shall come” someday in the future.

Their breath that they use to preach their “Jesus” is of the spirit of the antichrist. Their “Jesus” is not coming NOW in our mortal flesh but SHALL COME later.

They are not looking for the “Prince of Life” to come now in our mortal flesh as they are the “people of the prince that SHALL COME” someday in the future. Jesus is coming someday according to the false prophets.

(3) And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

His life IS being cut off out of the land (EARTH) of the living by the thieves…the wicked and the rich pastors. Who shall declare His generation...His eternal life being made manifest in the mortal flesh of anyone in this present earth?

Isaiah 53:8-9 KJV
(8) He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

He makes his grave with the wicked and with the rich in His DEATHS (plural word in Hebrew) as His eternal life is being cut off out of this earth. His life is not being made manifest in anyone’s mortal flesh because of the enemies. No mortal flesh is being saved.

(9) And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

The false prophets are the “people of the prince that SHALL COME”. They are not looking for the “Prince of Life”…Jesus Christ….to come now in our mortal flesh.

The prince that “shall come” is “another Jesus” that they (the people....the false prophets) are preaching and deceiving many with.

They remove the keeping of the “daily sacrifice” of our Lord being kept in our bodies so that His eternal life never appears in this earth. They set up a handwriting of dogmas for you to serve and worship their “jesus”. They corrupt our minds from the simplicity that is in Christ. The true Christ is being cut off as His eternal life is not being made manifest in this current time as they preach "another Jesus"...another "prince that SHALL COME" someday.

Daniel 9:26 KJV
(26) And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

Their “prince” that SHALL COME is a murder and they want you to be persuaded in your mind to follow them and kill the Prince of Life out of your own life.

God has already raised the true Jesus Christ from the dead and faith through His name shall make your “man”…your mortal body...strong and be a living witness to this world that Jesus the Christ is indeed alive as we are alive with Him in this earth.

Acts 3:14-17 KJV
(14) But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;
(15) And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.

MANY deceivers are entered into the world and do not confess (acknowledge in their preaching) that Jesus Christ IS COMING now in the flesh….in our mortal flesh.

2 John 1:7-11 KJV
(7) For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
(8) Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.
(9) Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

They do not bring this doctrine…this teaching of THE Christ….with them as their teaching is coming from the spirit (breath) of the “antichrist” instead. They do not teach that the true Jesus Christ is coming now in our mortal flesh via the keeping of His daily sacrifice in our mortal bodies.

(10) If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
(11) For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

The MANY false prophets are enemies of the cross of Christ as they come to take away the power of His cross in our lives. We are to always keep the dying of our Lord Jesus Christ in our mortal bodies so that His eternal life is made manifest in our mortal flesh.

Philippians 3:18-21 KJV
(18) (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:

The false prophets’ ending is destruction of their mortal bodies from this earth….and they are taking many down with them.

(19) Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)
(20) For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

They are not looking for the Savior’s eternal, heavenly life to be made manifest in our mortal bodies in this earth according to the “working”…the keeping of His daily sacrifice in our mortal bodies…whereby He is able to subdue all things unto Himself.

(21) Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.


We must be transformed by the renewing of our mind….the place of the skull. We are to deny ourselves (instead of the Holy One) and take away the cross that keeps His life from being made manifest in our mortal flesh and follow Him...the true Christ.

Romans 12:1-2 KJV
(1) I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
(2) And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

The Son of man (the manifestation of the eternal life of Jesus in our mortal flesh) is being betrayed into the hands of sinners.

THE (definite article) Jesus is actively today being taken by deceit (subtilty) and He is being “killed” out of our lives.

In our minds, we are being deceived by the false prophets…..the “chief priests and the scribes”….those who are high up in the churches of men along with their church handwritings of dogmas (dogmas =what we think is true within our own minds to keep).

Matthew 26:3-5 KJV
(3) Then assembled together the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders of the people, unto the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas,
(4) And consulted that they might take Jesus by subtilty, and kill him.
(5) But they said, Not on the feast day, lest there be an uproar among the people.

As long as we keep His “daily” sacrifice in our mortal bodies ….as long as the true Jesus teaches us “daily” in the temple (our mortal bodies), then the false prophets have no power to deceive us and take the true Jesus out of our lives.

Mark 14:48-49 KJV
(48) And Jesus answered and said unto them, Are ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and with staves to take me?
(49) I was daily with you in the temple teaching, and ye took me not: but the scriptures must be fulfilled.

When we grow “feeble” or fall “sleep” to well doing (the keeping of His “daily” sacrifice in our mortal bodies), then the multitude who follow in the footsteps of Judas come with the power of darkness to deceive us and take the eternal life of Jesus from ever being made manifest in our mortal flesh. The Son of man is betrayed (now) into the hands of sinners.

Matthew 26:45-50 KJV
(45) Then cometh he to his disciples, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

We must “awake” to His righteousness and go out from among them.

(46) Rise, let us be going: behold, he is at hand that doth betray me.

The “great multitude” follows after Judas with their “swords” (causing divisions among us) and “staves”….their crosses whereby the eternal life of Jesus is crucified out of our own lives. We are deceived by them into denying the Holy One and "killing" the Prince of Life out of our own lives.

(47) And while he yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people.

They come to “kiss” us with the flattering lips. They speak “good words and fair speeches” to deceive our minds in order to take the true Jesus out of our lives. They lay hands on the true Jesus and take Him. This is still going on in the congregations of many who are following after false prophets and the preaching of their "Jesus".

(48) Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him fast.
(49) And forthwith he came to Jesus, and said, Hail, master; and kissed him.
(50) And Jesus said unto him, Friend, wherefore art thou come? Then came they, and laid hands on Jesus, and took him.

Like “Amalek” (meaning: “the people who lick”….that is, the people who flatter us with their tongues), the multitude of false prophets come to us by the Way of righteousness and smite off the feeble (those feeble in well doing) from that road that leads to His eternal life.

Just as we are escaping the pollutions of this world, they come and sever us from the Way of righteousness…the Way that leads to His manifesting eternal life in this earth.

Deuteronomy 25:17-19 KJV
(17) Remember what Amalek did unto thee by the way, when ye were come forth out of Egypt;
(18) How he met thee by the way, and smote the hindmost of thee, even all that were feeble behind thee, when thou wast faint and weary; and he feared not God.
(19) Therefore it shall be, when the LORD thy God hath given thee rest from all thine enemies round about, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it, that thou shalt blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven; thou shalt not forget it.

The “Amalekites”….the “people who lick” as they speak great swelling words of emptiness…come forth to sever those who are just escaping from the pollutions of this world (“Egypt”) through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

2 Peter 2:18-21 KJV
(18) For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.
(19) While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.
(20) For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

They come to us by the Way….the Way of righteousness….in order to convince us into following their ways that lead to the destruction of our mortal bodies in this earth as the eternal life of Jesus is aborted out of our lives.

(21) For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

Let us not become “weary”…feeble…in well doing, for in due season we shall reap life everlasting (in the here and now) if we “faint” not. The spiritual “Amaleks” cannot then deceive us with their flattering tongues.

Galatians 6:8-10 KJV
(8) For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
(9) And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
(10) As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

Again, those who are by patient continuance in well doing seek …..eternal life.

Romans 2:7 KJV
(7) To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

Again, we keep His “daily” (in patient continuance) sacrifice in our mortal bodies (the “temple” of the Holy Spirit), then they have no power to deceive us.

But if we fall “asleep”…being forgetful in doing this, then they have their “hour” to deceive us by their “good words and fair speeches”. The power of death is in their tongues that speak feigned words to us and convince our minds that they preach the true Jesus.

Luke 22:53 KJV
(53) When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.

They come forth to us with their “swords”…causing divisions among us. They come forth to “kiss” us with a feigned “kiss” (just as Judas historically did to Jesus) instead of a “holy kiss”. They come with the “kiss” of flattering lips….good words and fair speeches to deceive the hearts of the simple from the Way that leads to His everlasting life.

Romans 16:
(16) Salute one another with an holy kiss. The churches of Christ salute you.
(17) Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
(18) For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.
