I don't think that you know what the Gospel is.

The Gospel is the work that Jesus did in our name and on our behalf that justifies the ungodly, Romans 4:5 and reconciles us and the world unto God, 2 Corinthians 5:18-19. Because of the doing and the dying of Jesus, God now sees us as perfect and complete "In Christ" Colossians 2:10.

Do you understand how to obey the Gospel?

If you understand what the Gospel is then you will understand how to obey the Gospel.


But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “LORD, who has believed our report?” Romans 10:16


For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? 1 Peter 4:17


in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Thessalonians 2:8

Obeying the Gospel is believing the Gospel and living by it.

Living by laws, rules and religion is not living by the Gospel. In the Gospel Jesus justifies the ungodly, Romans 4:5, and reconciles them and the whole world unto God, 2 Corinthians 5:18-19. The Gospel is about how Jesus has defeated sin, death and the devil so that the just can live by faith, Romans 1:17. The Gospel is about how Jesus has made us to be complete in him, Colossians 2:10.
