God the Son, Jesus Christ was born into our human race for our salvation. Can the Son be in many places at once? I think so, as God is Omnipresent. But does God have only one central presence? One for each of the three persons? Interesting to consider.

I am sure God made life on other worlds, other people. But what if they need salvation, what do they have? Can the Son also manifest there at the same time as he for example walked the Earth, or is he only free now? Or do they have some other means?

I'd say some other worlds have become paradises.

Looking at our world, Dolphins and Elephants are highly intelligent. Under other circumstances Elephants could have been sentient, dressed, made tools, done art and even sinned and needed a saviour. As they are, I think they go on to live in an afterlife in a paradise. It must be that they cannot knowingly sin.

So I open discussion about the Son and his presence and other worlds of sentient creatures.

It's my belief that the popular science fiction idea of extraterrestrials being essentially just humans with pointy ears or bumpy foreheads is completely off-base, and if extraterrestrial life exists, it will be so physically and psychologically removed from anything we're familiar with that concepts like sin simply won't apply to them in any way we can understand.

Romans 8:22-23 says that all of creation groans as it awaits its redemption. I am not saying I believe there is life on other planets, but if there is, his work is sufficient because his work addressed all of creation.

These verses you quote make a differences between creation and us. So I think in context, Paul was writing about creation locally.

Creation on Earth is subject to decay. Creation elsewhere maybe a paradise without decay. Creation elsewhere may be like ours or a horrific failure.

I think Jesus Christ was for the Adamic race and our local dominion.

We have example greatly different intelligent life on Earth. The Octopus, the Elephant and the Dolphin. But God could have made and I think did make many other human like creatures, in his image and likeness. Then gradually more and more different. But sentience needs language and communication, understanding life and death and oneself, the ability to learn from other's and their mistakes and if need be repent...

No.... Adam was given authority over all of creation and when he sinned all he had authority over had fallen. It wasn't just man that dies because of sin... plants, animals, planets, stars... the 2nd law of thermodynamics (entropy) reveals that sin touches all of creation because all is dying. His work is for all... not just man but all of creation which is why creation groans as it AWAITS ITS REDEMPTION as well.

There's no basis for believing there's any life anywhere other than what Yahuweh has revealed to His children through Yahushua Hamashiach.

There's many possible reasons throughout Scripture for not giving heed to fables and not wrangling over words needlessly.

I doubt the nature of stars has changed since the fall, although maybe only our star. Does Satan have the power to curse stars? I do not think entropy has changed, I made a thread about this before.

There was no death... death came as a result of sin. So if an animal dies it is because of sin... and since death entered through Adam's sinned, you can doubt all you want. But the evidence and Romans 8 is plain enough for me. :)

Well if therew is life on other planets and they come and visit me, the first thing I would ask them is who is Lord?

If anything other Jesus or one of it s derivatives comes out of their mouths- they are demonic and time to do some rebuking in the name of the Lord!

Philippians 2 lets us know that at the name of Jesus everyknee.....

Until there's any actual evidence of intelligent life of any kind somewhere other than on earth, it's basically wide-eye speculation on our part to say anything.

However, if we are going to speculate, I take the position that in the same way that Jesus, though born a Jew, from a Galilean mother, is nevertheless Savior of all people from all places, of every tongue and tribe. That the particular location of Jesus being born on a small wet rocky planet, third from the sun, in a small corner of another galaxy among billions doesn't mean Christ isn't for "aliens".

Another interesting look at this subject can be seen in C.S. Lewis' Space Trilogy.

But my current way of thinking is that the Incarnation has universal significance, what Christ has done He has done for the whole universe, as at the conclusion of history all of creation is made whole. And that includes whatever created intelligence may exist somewhere out there among the quintillions of stars in the observable universe.

Well I am a believer in ET's! They are called Cherubim, Seraphim and Angels (including the fallen ones)

They still have not actually visibly detected an actual planet outside our solar system. They deduce they are there from slight shimmers in a star or plotting a dot that crosses the plane of the star! They may be planets, they may be something else!

I do know that based on Genesis that the stars were created as signs for us! And I do agree with you in large measure. If God created life on other planets (If he created other planets) He decided to say to us--"it's nonya!"

I have come to think Genesis 6 and the sons of God, could not be angels, because they are called sons, angels are never called sons. They must have been ET in the son of God image and likeness.

    That would be incorrect!

    Job 1:6
Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them.

Jude also confirms they are angels:

6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

The Bible does not talk about how Christ will redeem... "worlds" (plural) and how all of them will live on the New Earth. Nor does it say if these other worlds will be condemned at the judgment, either. This is merely the influence of Science Fiction. The Bible tells us not to love the things of this world (See: 1 John 2:15-17). Also, those who have encounters with aliens sometimes smell brimstone, just as those people who have ghost encounters sometimes smell brimstone. Brimstone is associated with hell in the Bible. That is just one coincidence. Another coincidence is that whenever somebody gets involved in the occult, they are more likely to have alien encounters or alien abductions. Another coincidence is that these aliens or UFO saucer phenomenon can be cast out in the name of Jesus Christ.

I remember one time, I watched a video by a Pastor who referred to how the word "owl" can sometimes refer to demons in the Bible. The Pastor said that the shape and color of the eyes of owls matches up with the shape and color of the eyes of the ever popular grey alien that people see when they have alien encounters (i.e. black almond shaped eyes). At the time, I didn't think much of it. But then months later, I seen a trailer for a movie called "The 4th Kind" and it was a movie about alien encounters. What was disturbing is that they showed owls in the trailer with them morphing into these grey aliens. In the trailer, it looked like these people were being possessed, too. Very disturbing movie trailer.

I used to be a huge fan of Star Trek, and Science Fiction. I collected the five major series of Star Trek (at the time) on DVD from the Original Series to Enterprise (and knew many of the episodes by name). I even went to Star Trek Experience in Las Vegas (When it existed) several times, and I had been to one Star Trek convention. I even played the role playing game with my ole buddies. But after seeing the many sinful things being pushed within movies these days, I put away general sinful secular movie watching, and I now only watch Christian movies, educational documentaries, and a few occasional wholesome good family value romance films (to watch with my wife).

Another problem I had with Star Trek is that it promoted Atheism and Evolution.
Granted, there were a few episodes and exceptions to this, but they were not common (Unless you consider DS9's storyline on the alien like gods being like of the Bible - of which I do not agree with). The creator of Star Trek (Gene Roddenberry), was strongly against Christianity and he even insulted God and the Bible.

Most of the time, people love to fantasize about aliens out of their love for Science Fiction. But most of your Science Fiction pushes sinful things within them. So my encouragement to you is get in the Bible and ask God to show you the truth on this, and He will. I know for a fact that aliens are a part of one of the many demonic deceptions in these last days. So my encouragement to you, don't fall for it. Get in the Bible more and put away your either your love for Science Fiction or your love for the fascination of UFO encounters.

People ask, then why did God create the universe so big if there is no life on it?

Because God is big and He does things big and magnificent.
For God has even named all the stars.

I hope this helps and may God bless you today.

BTW ~ God created man in his image. Aliens of other worlds kind of takes away from that idea. There are of course many other things like this in the Bible that should hopefully lead you to reject the idea of aliens.

Ah, yes, that's the lilith. Now there's a rabbit hole with no bottom. Lots of medieval and Babylonian Jewish lore surround that one.

Satan is then distinguished from the sons, who are saints or creatures in his image and likeness, more importantly likeness. Since angels are sometimes alike men to see. But inside they are servants, not sons. Hebrews 1:5. Though I am not sure, I think the sons of God in Genesis were mortals.
