MANY, many people hate inanimate objects, things, and ideas. That is nothing new. I hate most any public entertainment team sport and the ridiculous idea that they are being paid enough money to have fun in just one year to enable them to never have to work to earn a living for the rest of their lives, any heat above 70 or so depending upon the humidity, trees planted close to home foundations, mosquitoes and yellow-jackets, ornamental bushes or trees or yard grasses which make one a slave and poorer and give NOTHING back but pride in oneself as if that were something. The way which God regarded sinners in the OT vs the NT is different. You are talking about the Torah or Mosaic Law while sacrifices were demanded for every sin, each and every time/temporal forgiveness and BEFORE believers themselves, became the Temple of the Holy Spirit, and full of Jesus, God the Son, in the NT. God, our triune God, cannot hate Himself. Our God hates evil and in the NT that IS the way we are instructed to be as described in RO 12:9b NIV "Hate what is evil; cling to what is good." It is EASY to hate objects or ideas. You probably started this thread cause you hate an idea.
