The Scripture says, "The Lord knows the way of the righteous" (Psalm 1:6). What this means is that God takes personal charge of our welfare. He does not send an angel to look after us. He looks after us Himself. That is how important we are to Him. Even if you were the one and only person in the world, Jesus would have come to die for you, and God would extend to you the same care. In fact, there are thousands upon thousands of believers in the world, and God fellowships with each as if they were the only one that He cares about. This is the greatness of God.

Even He does not answer your prayers in the way you want, or communicates with you every day, He is still there for you. It is just that you don't see Him, but His Word says that He sticks closer than a brother (Proverbs 18:24).
