I was an atheist but God has blessed me. But God has forsaken me now. I'm in the mid-30s, with no boyfriend, no job and feeling bad about myself. It's all because I had schizophrenia years ago. What do I do about that?

Hebrews 13:5 Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you."

God wouldn't leave you because of schizophrenia, or for any reason.
God hasn't left you, although your circumstances may make it seem like He has. Yet, He is always there, with you and living in you. If you seek Him out you will find Him. Don't despair because your plans aren't working out:

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

God has a plan for you and that is what you need to get on the same page with. Look at what Jesus said:

John 15:5 I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.

Whatever you're trying to do with without God isn't going to work out. I suspect God is waiting on you to get hungry enough to chase after Him and really seek Him with all of your heart. Do you want God more than money, or a boyfriend? If so then you have a reason to rejoice, because God is with you.

Don't feel bad about yourself because God loves you and He has redeemed you. Rejoice because your name is written in Heaven. Do you go to a church and do you have fellowship with other Christians? Do you read your bible and pray every day?

In the name of Jesus, I pray that you will begin to see the love of Christ, that he died to give you life, and life abundantly. In the name of Jesus be made whole from the top of your head to soles of your feet. In the name of Jesus I speak faith into your life. Praise the name of Jesus. He is good. And his mercies endure forever!

Rise up in the Lord and the power of His might. Not in your own strength but in the power of Jesus that lives inside you. You were called for greatness. And God has great plans for you. Believe the promises of God for you. They are all yours.

In the name of Jesus I break every curse that's ever been spoken over you. And in the name of Jesus, I bless you. Be blessed! Go forth and bring forth life in everything that you do. I bless you that people would want to hire you. And that when they see you they will know that something about you is great, and that greatness is Jesus. Greater is He that is in you then he that is in the world. In the name of Jesus I bless your esteem to line up and see who God created you to be. You are God's and He is yours. I cancel all lies that were ever spoken over you, in the name of Jesus.

Be blessed! Go forth and see that the Lord is good.

Perhaps its less about being forsaken and more about how you are viewing whats going on around you.
No boyfriend. So what? God never promises such things. Look at how quick you are to blame God for circumstances without stepping back to view if there may be other causes. You have an lack of understanding about how God operates and a lack of faith, yet you want to be placed in a situation aimed at getting married. What about you indicates you are ready to be in a selfless, spiritual relationship?
No job. Look around. There are a Lot of people without work. It amazes me how many people think they are being singled out by God about not having a job, despite the fact that the unemployment levels all over the country are high.
God doesn't forsake people for having mental disorders. This is an example of what i said about not having a boyfriend. Your understanding of God is wrong.
You still have a lot of growing to do both as a person, a Christian and in your knowledge and understanding of God and His word. Perhaps the problem is less on God forsaking you and more on the effects of the world you live in and how you are handling the things in your life.
And if you think i'm speaking from the perspective of an easy life an i can't understand, you're wrong. I refer to my life as 'living in the valley'. As in the lows. I won't get into all that i have gone through, but my life has not been easy. So i understand more than you think.

    Dear Dhatura,

If you have believed in Jesus, the Son of God that he died to pay for your sins and he is your Saviour then talk to him about how you are feeling. If the above is true then he has promised that he will never leave you or forsake you. If you cannot feel him it could stil be that his arms are around you. Sometimes awful things happen in life and they are not always punishments, sometimes they can be trials that will make us stronger. Some wonderful people have gone through very painful things as you have. God will not break a bruised reed. He is tender in restoring and helping his children. Things will not stay the same forever, but God will stay the same forever and he never forsakes his children.
