Why not? the heme molecule in human blood has iron where the heme molecules in chlorophyll has magnesium. So they might be green after all . Getting nutrients from the sun isn’t so unusual as even human skin makes vitamin D from sunlight

So what should be done? Send people out to meet them so that the aliens can be just as wretched and corrupt as fallen humanity? Perhaps that's why, if they exist, God has put them impossibly far away from earth.
