  6. We are no longer allowing posts or threads that deny the existence of Covid-19. Members have lost loved ones to this virus and are grieving. As a Christian site, we do not need to add to the pain of the loss by allowing posts that deny the existence of the virus that killed their loved one. Future post denying the Covid-19 existence, calling it a hoax, will be addressed via the warning system.

God needs to be specific to every individual, when more NO than yes in response to our prayers, it simply means prayer is ineffective.

Not sure what you mean by specific. But one thing I learned and is contrary to what is taught, is sometimes we become too specific with our request. When I lost my job I made the mistake of asking specifically for potential jobs i liked and prayed for specifically. I ended up boxing in God, dictating to him what I wanted, and basically making him a genie to grant my wishes.

Only when I fully surrendered and broadened my prayer by changing it to "a means to provide for my family" did He answer. When I say surrender, I was totally fine with whatever He chose for me and wherever He would direct me. I was in full faith, fully at peace, no fear whatsoever, just talking happily in prayer not worried in the least bit a was about to lose my home or stop my kids school. Only then in an open state of mind did He reveal to me something i never knew, point to a job i had not considered (out of bias), and one totally out of my sight. It turned out to be the best, most stable, highest paying job i ever had to which i am still working in today.

Another thing is Jesus talks about abundant life. Its weird that he cant get much done for you in 5 years or so. You are alone 5 years tortured every day. You try to get education, you get kicked out of school. Like Satan being much harder worker than god. Satan works are evident in your life, gods hard to find. You feel like you are cursed rather than blessed. First you think everything will be okay once i get my doctrine all well yet it didnt bring anything else than doubtless state. Satan still beating my ass. I hate doubt so much so that i had to study as long as i found clarity. Did pray for friends, job, which church to go, wife and to be free from oppression. Yet, i got only one terrible job which i had to end after six months, because it was ruining my health. Thats it still friendless, wifeless, jobless, without education and beated every day. Even now some spirit try to make me look upwards not straight making feel less wise.

Jesus says if you have faith even an amount of mustard seed you can move a mountain. Surely i have faith at least that amount yet when I told evil spirits to go to the flyes it did not work.

So doubt can be reason why you are not receiving according to scriptures.

"Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you. Mark 11:24

But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. 8A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. James 1

Are you conjuring up flesh faith? I saw this type of faith kill over 100 people in a Word of Faith cult.

Faith controlled by a choice is human faith. And I saw ity kill over 100 people in a Word of Faith cult.

Real faith is something God gives to you making it hard to doubt.

If you have faith and have goodness in your heart then all of your questions will eventually be answered. I've had prayers that were on hold for years. As I reflected on my life, I realized that my prayers were already answered; however, my ears were not listening.

I dont really want to think these kind of things , neither have part in these kind of human theology conclusions. Unless you have some scriptures to show me.

Why do you think you are missing the boat? Is it Christ's fault? Or yours?

If Christ saves a person, they experience him in their heart and they cannot help but believe.

Depending on what you are praying for, God's "answer" may be to let you decide what to do. Also, perhaps the answer to your prayer may depend on first understanding something God has already revealed to you, but you either don't understand or don't believe. Ask God if that is the case and see if He responds. Grace and Peace.

Is He supposed to? There are ways to overcome eczema that don't require divine intervention.

Faith is something God gives you telling you your prayers are answered before you see the results. Human faith is sinful and something you conjure up thinking God owes you healing if you do.

My God can and does heal mild and severe disease and resurrect people. However, He is not obligated to do so. Your experience is not the standard by which we judge God. His standard is what we use to judge you. Maybe God doesn't heal your son because if He did you would not come to Him for what He truly offers, Himself. You would just use it to justify your present beliefs, just as you are using your present beliefs to judge Him. The true healing we all need is the forgiveness of sins and the restoration of the life of God through faith in Jesus Christ. If you reject that because of your child's battle with eczema then that says more about you than it does God. Take care of yourself. Grace and peace.
