I recommend reading Galatians, being under the law is a choice, (Galatians 5:18) if you choose to be under the law then the curse applies, but only to you.

The planet is under a curse as set by God at Adam's fall, and being a Christian is not deliverance from the cursed planet.

The gospel is intended as much a source of future hope for the planet itself as it is for Christians, which is why the Lord commanded us to preach the gospel not just to people but also to creation itself.

Blessings in Christ Jesus! It has been said that there is power in the tongue. If you, as a born again believer use the Power and Authority given you in Jesus mighty name and renounce any curses placed on your family (from the enemy not God) they will no longer have any legal rights to your family. Speak life(The Word of God) and Blessings (for you are Blessed). You are the head and not the tail. It is just a matter of standing up and claiming what is yours and refusing what is not.

GAL.6: = 7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. 9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

1COR.5: = 4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when you are gathered together, along with my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, 5 deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

1COR.11: = 29 For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. 30 For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep. 31 For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged. 32 But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.

1JOHN.5: = 16 If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin which does not lead to death, he will ask, and He will give him life for those who commit sin not leading to death. There is sin leading to death. I do not say that he should pray about that. 17 All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin not leading to death.

HEB.10: = 26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. ...
30 For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. And again, “The Lord will judge His people.” 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

I think maybe this verse helps:

    Genesis 3:17

Then to Adam He said, “Because you have listened to the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree about which I commanded you, saying, ‘You shall not eat from it’; Cursed is the ground because of you; In toil you will eat of it All the days of your life.

The whole world is under the curse of sin that Adam and Even began when they first sinned.

    Romans 5:12

Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned--

    But:

    Galatians 3:13

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us--for it is written, “CURSED IS EVERYONE WHO HANGS ON A TREE”--

So we are freed from the curse of the Law, but we are not freed from being part of the world until we die and are resurrected. Therefore our physical lives on this earth are immersed in the curse, it's inescapable.

The Bible helps us here to because we are to die to the flesh:

    Romans 8:13

for if you are living according to the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you are putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

    Romans 6:5

For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection,

    Romans 8:13

for if you are living according to the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you are putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

That tells me the closer we draw to God the harder our lives will be, but God uses that to mature in our walk with Him.

    Hebrews 12:6

FOR THOSE WHOM THE LORD LOVES HE DISCIPLINES, AND HE SCOURGES EVERY SON WHOM HE RECEIVES.”

    Proverbs 3:11-12

My son, do not reject the discipline of the LORD Or loathe His reproof, For whom the LORD loves He reproves, Even as a father corrects the son in whom he delights.

Basically if we are in Christ and walking by the Spirit, not our flesh then the world will hate us, Christ told us so:

    John 15:18

“If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you

    But it has reward

    1 Peter 4:13

but to the degree that you share the sufferings of Christ, keep on rejoicing, so that also at the revelation of His glory you may rejoice with exultation.

    Hope that helps.

God gives us the law and tells us to follow it to be blessed and if not followed you will be cursed.

"I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:"

I am come that you might have life and life more abundantly. Choose life.

Pro_3:33 The curse of the LORD is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the just.
Pro_26:2 As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come.
Your reference to Exodus applies to those under the Mosaic covenant. Can Christians experience cursing in their lives? Yes, they can. How? By living by the law instead of grace. Anytime you think and act like you are earning God's favor, you are putting yourself under the curse because no man can fulfill the law. James said that if we break one law we break all the laws.

Another way Christians put themselves under the curse is when they willfully sin. All sin brings consequences.

Note, though, it is not God who is cursing the Christian, it is the Christian cursing himself. There is always a cause for a curse to come (Prov. 26:) and curses come by wickedness - sin - (Pro. 3.33).

God does provide a rose garden experience. It's full of thorns, needs pruning, and takes lots of manure. The OP seems to desire manipulating God for wealth and good times. That isn't the Gospel. The OP hasn't considered the successful wicked. God blesses who He will. As a Christian I'm instructed by the Bible to be content in the state I find myself. My personal testimony is I'm on the lower level financially yet can put almost half my current income in savings. Everything is paid for. I pay no interest (usury) to anybody. So instead of paying 1,000s plus purchase price, I only pay purchase price. I've bought items for a penny and sold them for $10.

Consider Lazarus and the rich man he begged from. What's important to you?

If your father is in prison, God will allow your to suffer.
If your father beats you, you and your children likely
with receive physical and emotional scarring that may last
for generations. Exodus is saying this will happen.

speaking of the tree in the midst of the garden, their being but the one tree ... which is a picture of our soul and what table we eat from ...

Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or make the tree bad and its fruit bad. For the tree is known by its fruit.

Just to be clear are you saying that you believe God has cursed you personally, and that curse is the reason for things that have happened in your life? I’m not dismissing what you are saying, I’m just not clear what you mean

The Law is an instruction, it's intent is to convict us of sin. But justifying ourselves by conforming to the requirements of the Law is more like idolatry.

Faith in Christ is paramount, not conformance to the Law. If we're convicted in our conscience by the Law then we are to repent, but as always Christ is paramount and the focus not the Law.

God has never cursed the Christians as you stated and the verse you showed you added the curse because it is not mention in your proof text. It is true that in the time that national Israel sometimes did face punishment for one man's disobedience, such as when Aiken sinned in Joshua 7:10-26; you can read that yourself it is too long to show here. But that did not mean his family was cursed, punished for his sin, yes, but death if one is saved is not a curse, one goes to be with the Lord that is a blessing, not a curse result. In Deut 14:16 “Fathers shall not be put to death for their children, nor shall children be put to death for their fathers; a person shall be put to death for his own sin. Same in 2 Kings 14:5-6 Now it happened, as soon as the kingdom was established in his hand, that he executed his servants who had murdered his father the king. 6 But the children of the murderers he did not execute, according to what is written in the Book of the Law of Moses, in which the Lord commanded, saying, “Fathers shall not be put to death for their children, nor shall children be put to death for their fathers; but a person shall be put to death for his own sin.” And is what Eze 18:1-4 is talking about when he said the guilty party, father or son, not the father because of the son's sin but the one who committed a sin worthy of physical death would get the punishment. Even today, like in your case perhaps, children and families and even our nation can face terrible events because of one man's transgressions, but the children of Lord will be taken through these events or taken to heaven as a result of the events. We still have the promise of God, I will never leave you nor forsake you. Sure many people are born with terrible health issues, why, we know sin in the world is always the result of anything horrible happening, the world itself is suffering waiting the redemption so the scripture says. Our faith is that God knows all these answers that we don't know, we must always keep our hearts and mind on the Lord our God who is Holy, Holy, Holy. Paul knew that he was going to face many difficulties as foretold to him by the Holy Spirit, but he pressed on and that is our duty and in glory this will all be behind us, press on toward the mark of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. I see on tv some Christians and some who are not faced with being born with no arms, or no legs and they are by their own words so thankful to be alive and they have learned that life is tough, but they move on, if Christian, they are looking for that blessed hope and appearance of our Great God and Savior Jesus Christ when He comes to redeem His children from this present world, in glory there will be no more sin!:clap::amen:

Read Romans 8. True Christ followers are no longer under any curse or Conditional Covenant of the OT.

Read about the New Covenant bound by the blood of Jesus in Hebrews.

    Deliverance from Bondage

Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.

The wrath of God of the OT has been removed.

And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in My blood....Luke 22:20

and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks better than the blood of Abel....Hebrews 12:24

    You said this:

That comes from the Old Testament, before Christ had made atonement for sins and nullified the Law for believers. It seemed to me that you were implying a blessing and a curse by not following the Law. But Christ became the curse for us at the cross, thus nullifying the curse for those who believe.

This is what the Book of Hebrews says in this regard:

    Hebrews 9:11-14

But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things to come, He entered through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation; and not through the blood of goats and calves, but through His own blood, He entered the holy place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. For if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled sanctify for the cleansing of the flesh, how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

No one is justified by following the Law because there is no way to cleanse your conscience without Christ's sacrifice and resurrection. If your conscience is not clean it is defiled. That is why we confess our sins to God and seek forgiveness (repentance).

There is no possibility for repentance without intercession by the Holy Spirit, the Law convicts us of our sins (instruction) but the Holy Spirit intercedes for us so we can obtain repentance.

Paul says this in Galatians 3:10-11

For as many as are of the works of the Law are under a curse; for it is written, Cursed is everyone who does not abide by all things written in the book of the law, to perform them. Now that no one is justified by the Law before God is evident; for, the righteous man shall live by faith.

The blessing is Christ, not adhering to the Law.
