Like I said no such valid survey exists.
They used a biased sample and only included 218 skeptics out of 1886 scientists (11%), so obviously you will get 90% in agreement.
So in order to figure out how many skeptics exist in a pool of researchers you will only be happy when they start with a pool with 50% skeptics?
The whole point of any citation analysis such as this one would be to find out what the consensus is. It is painfully obvious that the consensus is that AGW is real. That is why it is hard to find more than about 218 skeptics out of 1886 scientists in this area. That's kind of the point!
Spend some time at a research facility that does this sort of thing, or spend some time around earth/climate scientists. It is really hard to find "skeptics" among them. Not impossible, but certainly hard.
This whole meta debate over how firm, exactly, the consensus actually is is somewhat beside the point.
But again, in order to assess the population of X in Y if X is low then it will only make up a small portion of Y. It's tautological.
